"I don't think it's impossible at all! Although Ms. Bonita is a legend in the Arvandor research field, Knight Group’s CEO is also outstanding. He's the man that every woman in Pyralis dreams of marrying. Maybe they hit it off and decided to get married?"
"Yeah, who can say for sure when it comes to relationships?”
As everyone expressed their opinions and debated, Trina Shepard became pale. Her hand gripping the phone tightened. She was 80 percent sure that Ivor was the president of the Knight Group.
Of course, this was just speculation. Trina couldn't be fully sure without a definite answer.
She suddenly recalled seeing Ivor and Ms. Bonita’s silhouette at the airport when she accompanied her parents to a symposium. Ms. Bonita looked very similar to Bonnie.
‘Is Bonnie actually—’
She shook her head vigorously and muttered, "That's impossible. How can that useless Bonnie be Ms. Bonita? It must be a coincidence. All of this is just a coincidence."
Suddenly, she remembered Bonnie's acquaintance with Jim, and her face turned paler. Although Trina was unwilling to admit it, if Bonnie were Ms. Bonita, everything would have a reasonable explanation.
However, Trina had no way to verify the truth. If she could, she wanted to rush to Bonnie right now and ask her everything.
However, to avoid getting kicked out of Pyralis University again, she had to be careful not to act irrationally in front of Bonnie.
On the other hand, if Bonnie told her she was Ms. Bonita, she wouldn't be able to bear this shock. Hence, she could only silently pray that Bonnie was not Ms. Bonita.
