Harper and Frank looked into each other's eyes in silence.
After nearly half a minute, Harper said, "If there is nothing else, I will get busy."
"Harper." Frank immediately stopped her. "Do you love him so much?"
Harper didn't answer but glanced at him indifferently.
She always thought that Frank knew her well enough, so numerous inquiries and questions were unnecessary.
But now it seemed that he didn't understand her at all.
He had no idea what she desired.
Harper didn't reply, and at that moment, Frank's cell phone rang.
He took out his cell phone and glanced at it. With a sullen face, he narrowed his eyes but didn't answer it immediately.
Noticing this, Harper whispered, "I'm going to get busy now."
She walked out without waiting for Frank's response.
Staring at the closed door, Frank raised his hand and pressed his eyebrows hard in a bad mood.
The phone in his hand was still ringing, and he didn't answer it until a second before it ended automatically.
"What's wrong?" Frank asked coldly.
The call was from Lauren. She said, "Didn't you say something will definitely happen to the Martin Group this time? Nowadays, netizens support and defend the company. If this continues, it will only develop better and better. How can Harper and Benjamin get divorced?"
Divorce would significantly impact the company's stock price and have a substantial effect on the Martin Group. Therefore, Benjamin would certainly refrain from taking such action.
Frank was already impatient, and being questioned by Lauren made his face even colder.
He said, "If you hadn't complicated this matter by talking nonsense in front of the media and reporters, do you think the Martin Group would have been in this situation now?"
"Aren't you just worried about Harper? But what about me? I was greatly affected by this incident. Benjamin suspended all my work, and that bitch Harper caused me a lot of trouble. Do you think I can tolerate this?"
"You have to endure it anyway. If you make reckless decisions again, there will be no positive outcomes. It's still early in the process, and the ultimate victor remains uncertain.
"As for Benjamin, after this incident is over, you should find a way to approach him and stay close. Once you are intimate, rumors will be feasible even if there is no relationship at all. Do you understand?"
Lauren immediately grasped it. Finally, she asked worriedly, "The family of the deceased has admitted it. Are you sure that Benjamin will not track you down?"
