Chapter 488 Confront Frank
Benjamin squinted at her, his voice low. "If you really want to thank me, then don't keep making me angry, hmm?"
Harper was taken aback. After he gave her a deep, intense look, he turned and walked towards the door.
When the door closed, she came back to her senses and couldn't help but wonder when she had always made him angry.
Anyway, there had been some progress.
In truth, Harper didn't really need to ask Benjamin for help. She could have used her own resources to trace the hat's origin. But after careful consideration, she decided to seek his assistance.
Curtis contacted her shortly after and recommended a luxury designer, Tracy Strong, who had connections in major brands and could assist.
Harper knew her. With Benjamin as the intermediary, she explained her intentions to Tracy. Instead of directly inquiring about the hat, she mentioned a few clothing items and asked Tracy to check the purchase records and membership lists.
These were internal and confidential information, not meant to be disclosed to outsiders. However, Tracy had a good relationship with the store manager she was inquiring about, so she managed to obtain the information smoothly.
Tracy sent the list to Harper and asked casually, "What are you going to do with these? You're not planning to sell them, are you?"
"Of course not. That would be illegal. I just want to understand their preferences and screen their identities. It will be helpful for my work."
Harper's explanation seemed reasonable enough, so Tracy didn't dwell on it. She asked, "Do you need information on other brands, too? You can just send them to me."
"Okay, I appreciate it."
"Don't mention it. I've worked with Mr. Martin before, and since I know you're his wife, it's only natural for me to lend a hand."
Harper hadn't expected Benjamin to directly disclose their relationship to Tracy. A warm feeling welled up inside her.
