I Only Want You novel Chapter 1040

"Uncle, why do you help him?" Harmon said to Isaac angrily.

Isaac glanced at the little boy who had just been lifted up and stood next to him, "He's younger than you."

"But he is a thief!"

"Right!" The child in slippers chimed in, "He stole something from Harmon's family. He's a bad guy!"

"Nonsense!" The little boy shouted at the children in front of him. He was so excited that his voice cracked.

Isaac frowned and stared at the boy's head for two seconds. He patted the boy's head and asked, "Is what they said true?"

"No!" The little boy shook his head, "They are talking nonsense! I didn't!" As he said this, he raised his head, "Uncle, that's something that belongs to my mother. I didn't steal it!"

Isaac didn't say anything. When he saw the little boy's face, his heart trembled.

"Uncle." Seeing that Isaac remained silent, the little boy was a little anxious, "Uncle, I really didn't steal anything!"

Isaac came to sense and said lightly, "Mm."

Was he out of his mind? Why did his mind go blank when he saw the little boy's face? What was even more ridiculous was that he felt that the boy was familiar...

Ha-ha...

Was he crazy?

He shook his head and then softened his tone, "Tell me. What happened? Maybe I can help you."

Perhaps he was meddling in a child's business, but...

The little boy looked at Harmon and others, and then told everything.

It turned out that he broke Harmon's electronic watch when he was playing with Harmon, and his mother used her bracelet to pay for it. But his mother liked the bracelet very much, so he wanted to take it back.

Therefore, he competed with Harmon. The one who could sum up one to one hundred first would win. If he won, he could get the bracelet back. Harmon agreed with this requirement.

In the end, he won, but Harmon didn't give it to him, so he snatched it. Then, those things happened.

After hearing this, Isaac had mixed feelings in heart. Such a young child could actually do such a thing for his mother. Although he shouldn't have snatched the bracelet, the bracelet was really something that belonged to him, wasn't it?

However, since Harmon could play with it at will, and he was such a small child, so the bracelet couldn't be very expensive.

Issac waved at Harmon. Harmon looked at him, glared at the little boy again, and then walked to him.

Isaac coughed lightly, "Do you like the bracelet?"

Harmon looked back at the child in slippers, and then looked at Isaac. He thought for a moment, and then shook his head, "No."

"Whether you like it or not, he won. Since you said so, and he won, it means that the bracelet has belonged to him. Am I right?"

Harmon bit his lip and nodded. It seemed that he didn't fully understand.

Seeing this, the little boy looked more relaxed. He looked at Isaac with adoring eyes.

Issac took out his wallet, took some money from it and handed it to Harmon, "He won, so I don't mean to buy this bracelet for him. Take the money and buy some snacks with your friends. Remember that you can't bully him anymore."

Seeing Harmon and the others had left, the boy let out a heavy sigh. He didn't run away immediately, but bowed to Isaac, "Thank you, uncle."

Looking at the little boy's serious face, Isaac sighed softly.

The little boy's hair was in a mess because of he fought with them just now. His face was smeared with mud, and his clothes were wrinkled and a little dirty. He really looked a bit untidy.

But Issac didn't mind. Instead, he squatted down and pinched the boy's face, "Hey, what's your name?"

"My name is Arvis."

"Oh, Arvis?" Isaac nodded, "Where's your mom? If you run around, your mom will be worried."
