I Only Want You novel Chapter 116

As she stood downstairs in the hotel that James Lu described, Elizabeth Liang felt both exhilaration and nervousness.

She had just received his phone call and was in a daze. The phone hung up for a while before she knew it -- he'd asked her out to dinner! He asked her out to dinner!

It seemed the first time in all their acquaintance that they had dined alone, and he had offered it.

The little caper and surprise in her heart made her feel excited and ecstatic.

After work, she wanted to go home and change her clothes, but there was not enough time, so she had to give up.

For fear of upsetting James Lu, she even took a taxi for the first time.

Now she was downstairs, already in the lobby, and after a few steps she backed out.

After looking around and making sure that she didn't see anyone she knew, she secretly ran to the side.

Facing the glass, she ruffled her hair and pulled at her T-shirt to make sure nothing was wrong. Then she took a deep breath and turned toward the lobby.

She took the elevator to the third floor. It was only five o 'clock, and there were not many people for dinner. Almost as soon as she entered the dining room, she caught a glimpse of James Lu, who was sitting by the window.

He sat askew in the chair, with one hand on the back of the chair and a cigarette on the table with the other.

At this time of the day, the sun is not very strong. The sunlight aspersed on his body, the smoke gently around his fingertips. He cocked his head to one side to look out of the window, lost in thought, with eyebrows frowned slightly. He's god damn handsome.

"Do you have a reservation, miss?" The waiter of the restaurant came up to her and asked politely

Elizabeth Liang nodded. "Yes, I can go by myself."

"Okay."

In fact, at this time, James Lu's heart was still tangled.

He didn't know what happened to him that he really listened to Samuel and asked her to come out for dinner.

After he had called her, he had come straight here on an impulse that had not yet dissipated. But as time elapsed, he's more agitated.

"How awkward it will be later to see her!"

He agreed to reconcile with her, but when he finished the meal she sent with the basket, he felt uncomfortable again.

He was proud and handsome like a god. But he lost all his dignity in front of her, and she's the one to put on the magnanimity, proposing to reconcile with him...

Ha ha ha!

"Doesn't that make him the one petty, narrowminded and ungracious??"

What a shame!

However, he even didn't trouble to be angry.

Last night before he went to bed, he took off his shirt and hung it in the closet with fine detail, and even took the bowl he had just eaten to the bathroom to clean as if his brain were short-circuited.

Because of the inexplicable feeling in his heart, he couldn't sleep well. He woke up before dawn.

He lay on the bed alone, staring at the ceiling for an hour, but the confusion in his heart still didn't disappear.

Would it be awkward to see her in the morning?

Tortured by this thought, he finally got up and changed his clothes in a hurry, and then tiptoed downstairs and went to the company to work!
