Isaac followed the man all the way to the second floor. After knocking on the door, the man said respectfully, "Master." He turned around and glanced at Isaac, "Issac is here."
"Come in!"
The man pushed the door open, "Please."
After Isaac entered the room, the man closed the door.
Maxwell was sitting at the tea table and making tea leisurely. Seeing Isaac come in, he glanced at him and filled his tea cup before putting down the teapot.
"You're here?"
Isaac replied coldly, "How can I not come since you've made much ado?"
Maxwell did not care about his sarcastic tone, "You arrived earlier than I thought."
"Where are they?" Isaac didn't want to talk nonsense with him.
"Don't worry." Maxwell took a sip of tea, "They are very good. Where are the things? Have you brought them all?"
Isaac waved the briefcase in his hand, indicating that everything Maxwell wanted was inside.
Maxwell smiled with satisfaction and then sighed softly, "How ridiculous it is! I think that men should be indifferent and heartless in order to get great achievements, but both of my sons are spoony. Lucho has been loving Myesha for so many years and has no interest in other women. You and Adele have known each other for more than 20 years, right? Even if you thought she was dead, you couldn't let go of your love for her."
"However, this is your weakness. Otherwise..."
'Tve brought what you want. I don't want to talk about anything else. Let them go right now!"
Maxwell glanced at him lightly, "Now, you're in my territory, so I can do whatever I want." After that, he pointed to the opposite seat, "Sit down. It seems that we have never sat together and chatted in peace. Why don't we take this opportunity and have a talk?"
Isaac frowned but sat down as he was told.
Maxwell handed a cup of tea to Isaac, "That child..."
Isaac's heart skipped a beat when he heard this, "When did you know them?"
"When you said that you wanted to work in Bai Company." Maxwell smiled, "Isaac, I thought you repented, but you didn't. Although you are my son, to be honest, you are inferior to Lucho."
Hearing this, Isaac had no extra feelings. Although he heard these words from his nominal father, he didn't care. Maxwell might not regard him as his own son. Moreover, he even hoped that Maxwell was not his father.
