Upon hearing this, Elizabeth paused for a moment. The next second, she walked faster.
Why did he get off the car? Didn't he know how embarrassed she was now?
"Stop!"
"..." It was too late for her to hide. How could she stop? He just got out of the car. Was it that he noticed the red bloodstain on her white pants?
"Damn it! Don't you understand that I asked you to stop?!"
He ran to her almost as soon as he finished his sentence.
In less than ten seconds, he successfully caught her who's trying to run away.
"Em..." He frowned awkwardly, "Didn't you... bring that thing with you?"
Such an embarrassing question... Oh, God!
Elizabeth was stunned instantly as if she had been hit in the acupoints. Her mind was buzzing, and her only thought was that she's ashamed and she wanted to die.
Watching her head momentarily lowered, James knew he guessed it right.
There was also a slight blush on his face, and he said dryly "Go back!", with force unrefutable in his voice.
"You say one more word. Believe it or not, I'll beat you up!" He said as he tugged at her wrist and pulled her into the car.
Elizabeth, weak and slim, not a match in strength to James at all, had tried to struggle for a while and failed to get rid of his hand, but was pulled even tighter by him.
She had no other choice but to be dragged away by him, her face blushing and her head down. She wanted to cry but had no tears.
When he reached the car, he pulled open the door to the co-driver seat and threatened to push her in.
Elizabeth was so taken aback that she couldn't
think of anything else and said hastily, "Ah! I.... I
can't sit, I'll..."
"I'll dirty it up." Before she could say it, he said impatiently, "Cut the crap! Go in and wait!" He then directly pressed her in.
"I..." Her face was red, and she attempted to get out.
"You said you're a trouble maker. It's true!" He stopped her movements again, depressed. "If you dare to move again, do you believe that I will throw you on the street right away?"
Upon hearing this, Elizabeth finally was well-behaved and sat there with a bitter face. She wanted to fake a faint now.
He's now satisfied seeing her well-behaved, but in the next second, he said gloomily, "Wait a minute, I'll buy you... " He continued, "Wait for me to come back" and turned and hurried toward the direction of the elevator.
"Boom-"
Elizabeth clutched the cushion tightly with both hands. She's so embarrassed that she wanted to disappear immediately. Her face was burning hot, and even her ears were hot.
"Oh my god! Oh my god! I don't need to fake a faint?
I should die of shame! I've promised that I would better myself! My image! What image I'm presenting now!"
James went to help her buy the pad, right? He was such an arrogant man! How could he offer to buy something so private for women use...
She knew that he was gone and lifted her eyes to see his back moving away from her until at last, he disappeared in the elevator. Her face was burning hot uncontrollably, and in her heart, there was an indescribable feeling, like she's being surprised, or affection, or something else, she could not tell.
