James was awakened by the sound of Samuel answering the phone.
He moved his stiff neck and looked at the source of the voice in a daze. After listening for a moment, he probably knew that Samuel was talking about work.
He habitually raised his wrist to check the time. It was 7:10 p.m.
Had he slept for such a long time?
He looked at the scenery outside the window. After a while, he realized where he was.
He looked back at the place next to him and found no one was there.
"Where is she?"
Samuel, who was answering the phone, turned around and asked, "President, are you awake?"
James did not answer, and ignored that he was on the phone. He asked again, "I ask you, where is she?"
Samuel said to the phone, "Sorry, I'll call you later." Then he hung up the phone. "Young Madam went up the mountain."
Hearing this, James frowned, and felt some displeasure.
"Why didn't you wake me up just now?"
He had gone to that place once when he was arranging the manpower. The road was not easy, and the mountain was also a little high. He had come with her just because he didn't want her to go up there alone.
"Well..." Samuel said awkwardly, "Young Madam said that you were too tired and she wanted you to continue sleeping."
Hearing this, James became angry. "Who exactly is paying your salary? Do you do everything she asks? Don't you know to wake me up? What's wrong with you?"

"Even if you didn't wake me up, don't you know to go up with her?"
Looking at the darkening sky outside the window, James was growing more and more irritated. He growled at Samuel louder and louder.
Looking at him, Samuel said in his heart that he really knew his president very well. Look, now he was really angry with him.
"I said that I would go with Young Madam, but she didn't allow me..."
"Even if she didn't let you go, how could you really not go? You..." James closed his eyes sullenly and then asked, "How long has she been up there?"
"She went at six o'clock."
Six o'clock? In other words, she had been up there for over an hour. Why hadn't she come down?
The more he thought about it, the more annoyed he became. Without thinking, he directly opened the door of the car. "President..." As soon as Samuel saw this, he knew that he was worried about Elizabeth. So he comforted him, "Please sit down for a wwhile. Young Madam should come down soon."
James glared at him and then slammed the door.
If he went up to pick her up now, he should be able to get down before the sky completely darkened.
Samuel also got out of the car. "President, I'll go with you."
James strode up the mountain without looking back. "No need. You wait here."
