I Only Want You novel Chapter 176

After entering the private room reserved by Isaac, James walked over with an unhappy look and sat down on the sofa nearest to him.

Adele Sheng pressed the pause button on the music device and greeted him on the microphone, "Jimmy, long time no see. How's it going? Isn't your wife coming?"

He looked at Adele with a faint expression and nodded. "Glad to see you, Adele."

Isaac glanced at Benjamin on the side, then took two glasses of wine and sat down beside James. "Hey! Didn't I ask you to come long ago? Why did you come so late?" As he said this, he looked at the direction of the door, "Didn't you say that you wanted to bring Elizabeth? Where is she?"

James took the wine and gulped it down. "She has something to do, so she can't come."

"Oh, really? Adele said she wanted to see your wife! What a pity."

Benjamin also came over at this time, "You are so fast. I didn't expect that you could finish such a complicated thing in just a few days."

James knew he was talking about Liang Company. After hearing it, he just laughed and didn't want to say more.

"Hey, James! I find that you are not happy today!" Isaac looked at him suspiciously, "What's the matter?"

Benjamin had already noticed that there was something wrong with James today. Seeing this, he raised his eyebrows and winked at Isaac. Isaac then said, "I'm asking you. What's wrong with you?"

James directly took the glass of wine from Isaac's hand and drank it. Then he said lightly, "I'm just tired."

"Jimmy, I'm so happy to see you today. Cheers?" Adele held the wine and smiled a little weirdly.

James took one glass with a faint smile. "Welcome back, Adele." He raised his glass and drank the wine, and then said, "Go have fun."

Benjamin brought a bottle of wine over, but still patted him on the shoulder and said, "Drink less. No matter what the reason is, drinking can't solve the problem."

James nodded. "Well, go ahead and play with them. I want to stay by myself for a while."

Benjamin looked at him for a second and then exchanged a look with Isaac. Then, they left together and found a slightly further place to sit down.

In the private room, Benjamin and Isaac were talking about something. Occasionally, when they clinked glasses, there was a sound of glass clanking.

Adele sang very excitedly by herself. She sang one song after another as if she didn't know what it meant to be tired. The singing style was also full of variations.

The sound of music was not loud, but it was also not small. However, James, as if he was in an empty space, leaned lazily on the sofa. He didn't drink much, but kept smoking.

He stared at the phone he'd been stroking. It wasn't until he felt some pain in his throat that he switched on the screen and found Elizabeth's number. He hesitated whether he should call her to ask if she was home.

But he hung up almost as soon as he pressed her number, and then couldn't help but laugh at himself.

How could he be like this? He was so pissed off by her, but he still had to worry about whether she had returned home or not.

Isaac, who was always paying attention to James's action, couldn't help but say to Benjamin beside him, "Jimmy is really strange today. Look at his bitter look. It looks like that he is suffering a terminal illness."

Benjamin glanced at James. Then he turned around and smiled. He nodded and said, "Well, maybe he really has a terminal illness."

"Really?"

"Yes." Benjamin nodded and said, "He is suffering a terminal illness of love."

"..." Isaac was stunned. "What the f**k! Can you finish your words in one breath?"

With this, Isaac shook his head and denied, "It shouldn't be so. You don't know how nice he treat his little wife. Besides, he did such a big thing for her two days ago. By rights, his little wife should be so happy and grateful to him. They should be very sweet right now. How can they quarrel with each other now?"

"Who can make it clear about love?"

Isaac looked at Benjamin with disdain and said, "Hey! It sounds like you've got some experience."
