Elizabeth took the subway to the amusement park. As soon as she walked out of the subway exit, the strong sunshine made her squint.
It took her a long time to reach Gate A where he had asked her to meet in the intense sunlight. She was already sweating from the heat. But even in this heat, there were too many people coming to play.
She stood there and looked around, but she didn't find Leo.
Just as she was about to call him to ask if he had not arrived yet, her phone rang.
Before she could speak, Leo on the other side said, "Hey! Little Bunny! How could you look for so long and not find me? I'm so dazzling. Shouldn't you have found me right away?"
"..." Elizabeth inevitably felt depressed. Although he was not bad looking and very famous, it was really difficult for her to find him among so many people who came in and out at a glance. "There are really too many people. I thought you didn't come."
"Didn't come? I almost fell asleep while I was waiting for you, okay?" Leo snorted and continued, "Now, You turn back. I am right at the six o'clock position of you."
Elizabeth did as he said. She turned around and looked for him for a long time, but she still didn't see him. "Where are you?"
"Hey! Little Bunny, why are you so stupid? Did you see someone waving at you? That's right! The most handsome one! Do you see me now?"
Elizabeth took a look and saw someone standing up in the cafe opposite to her and waving at her.
Ignoring the heat and the scorching sun, she trotted to him.
When she came to his table and looked at him, who was wrapped up like a dumpling, Elizabeth couldn't help but complain in her heart, "You're all armed now. You're wearing a hat, a mask, and sunglasses. Who would recognize you? And you say you're the brightest and most handsome one. I'm afraid even your parents won't recognize you."
Leo pushed the pre-ordered juice to her and said, "Is it hot? Have a cold drink to take the heat off. Don't heat up my great designer to death."
Elizabeth was hot and thirsty. Seeing this, she directly pulled out the chair and sat down. She picked up the juice and took two sips, "You know it's hot. Why do you still want to come here to play?"
"I just suddenly wanted to play. I wanted to have some childhood fun." He ordered juice and even took a straw. Because he was afraid that taking off his mask would cause a stir. With the straw, he only had to pull the mask up slightly when he drank the juice.
Leo picked up a cup of iced coffee and took a sip, "Little Bunny, you like merry-go-round most, don't you?"
Hearing this, Elizabeth looked at him with some confusion, "How... how do you know?"
"Well," He coughed twice, "Don't all girls love that? You guys always feel as if you're sitting up there like princesses. Childish!"
"..." Elizabeth did not say anything.
Merry-go-round? She liked it when she was a child. She still remembered that she always played this first whenever she came here with her parents. When she was still a small girl, her parents would always accompany her to play it. When she was a little older, she would sit alone. Her parents would stand beside waiting for her, and they would take pictures of her.
Later, she remembered that on her ninth birthday, her parents said they would take her to the amusement park. But that day, they had a big business to deal with. So, they didn't come in the end. And then... Her parents left her forever.
"Do you still like it? Merry- go- round?" After he finished, he seemed to feel that the question he asked was not too good, "I mean, do you want to try it again later?"
Elizabeth lowered her eyelids and thought for a moment. Then she shook her head, "I don't want. I'm not a small girl anymore."
