I Only Want You novel Chapter 20

James Lu usually hated waiting. But for some reason, he was being very patient today.

He flipped through a fashion magazine with great interest as he sat on the sofa in the waiting room.

There were a few others in the room, but he was definitely the most eye-catching. He only sat there upright, but his incomparably handsome face made him look like a painting.

"Mr. Lu, we're done!" The stylist came out first and hurriedly pulled open the curtain behind her. Elizabeth Liang, who has been dressed up from head to toe, appeared before James.

James looked up casually but was stunned the moment he saw Elizabeth.

Her dress, shoes, accessories, makeup and hair were all coordinated in harmony.

Elizabeth had on her a long white fishtail gown. She was in very good shape, and the dress perfectly outlined the curves on her body. She looked shapely yet not immodest, and somehow youthfully innocent.

The stylist put on her the trendiest style of makeup, it was light but wonderfully pretty.

Her long black hair was gathered behind her head in a simple updo, and a small strand of curled hair dangled from each side of her face, making her look beautiful and radiant. "Will this do, Mr. Lu?"

James, who was still looking in awe, immediately came to himself when he heard the stylist. He awkwardly coughed and nodded.

Was the person standing in front of him really Elizabeth Liang?

He admitted that Elizabeth was quite beautiful in a graceful way, but he didn't expect her to become prettier the more he looked at her. Her big glistening eyes stood out in particular, they were so expressive he felt as if they spoke to him.

James had only seen Elizabeth without makeup all this time. Now that she was all dolled up along with her hair and makeup, she was breathtaking to behold.

Noticing his silence, Elizabeth nervously squeezed the sides of the dress and said, "Urn... does it look weird?"

It was her first time wearing a dress like this.

Not only was the dress uncomfortably tight, she couldn't help but feel as if she wasn't wearing anything. The dress was beautiful, but the fabric in front of her chest felt like it was going to slip at any moment.
