James's phone rang as soon as he returned to his room.
It was from President Fang of A University. He raised his eyebrows and picked up the phone, "Hello?"
President Fang smiled on the other side of the phone and said, "Hello, Mr. Lu! I am Fang from A University!"
"Yes."
"It's so late. I hope I didn't disturb you."
James pinched his painful eyebrows and asked, "What can I do for you, President Fang?"
"Mr. Lu, recently the students from our school's art department will go to another school to participate in a competition. They need uniform costumes. I always remember what you said last time. So I wanted to ask if your people are available recently. If possible, these costumes...."
James stopped pinching the middle of his eyebrows and a smile appeared on his face, "Well, she's available."
James had made the request all for his little wife in the first place. Now the case had found them on its own, and meanwhile Elizabeth wasn't busy. It would be strange if James didn't agree.
"When do you need these clothes?"
When Principal Fang heard this, he immediately replied with a smile, "It will be okay in half a month." In half a month?
Elizabeth was very efficient. When they returned from their trip abroad, there was more than enough time for Elizabeth to start designing.
"Okay!" James agreed, and then asked, "Do you have any requirements on these clothes?"
"Mr. Lu, I trust the designer you recommended very much. Just let her decide on the style and color of the clothes. The only small request I have is that their style should be completely uniform."
"Well, I see."
When Principal Fang heard this, he couldn't help but say somewhat shyly, "Then... Mr. Lu, the cost of this dress..." President Fang had called James because James had asked him for it the last time James had funded the school. While the school didn't need additional funding for the time being, there was no guarantee that Principal Fang wouldn't need to ask James for help in the future. Besides, Principal Fang always remembered that James had said that he would pay all the expenses.
James smiled and said, "Don't worry! I'll do what I promised you."
"Thank you, Mr. Lu."
As soon as James hung up the phone, Elizabeth came in with the food she prepared.
"Are you hungry?" Elizabeth said, putting the noodles on the tea table next to him, "I made a little simple noodles. Just have some first."
James looked at the noodles in the bowl. There were a few green vegetables and a fried egg on the noodles. The noodle soup was thick and creamy. There were also some bright green onions floating on the soup. James looked at it and thought it must be very tasty.
"Thanks." James didn't say much and took it over to eat.
James didn't know how Elizabeth cooked. The noodles were rich and delicious, and just the right amount of salty. The noodles were also very chewy. It was just a bowl of simple noodles, but he felt that it was more delicious than the delicacies outside.
Having eaten such delicious noodles, James felt that it was worth it to fly all day hungry like this.
Elizabeth sat aside and saw that he was eating quickly and urgently. She couldn't help but say, "Slow down and Don't choke on it."
James answered her, but his speed did not slow down. In the end, he even drank the soup. Then he put down the bowl and chopsticks with satisfaction.
"Want more?"
James shook his head, "Enough."
