Elizabeth thought for a moment and replied seriously, "Nothing. It's enough."
"No!" James shook his head gently, "I think it's still not enough. What do you think?"
"What do you mean?"
James smiled at Elizabeth and then asked softly, "Do you want to see fireworks, Mrs. Lu?"
"Fireworks?" Elizabeth looked around and said, "Even if I want to see it, you don't have it now, right?"
James did not say anything, but turned around. Looking at the direction of the sea, he lifted his hand up again.
Two seconds later, he took back his hand. And he flicked out the unfinished cigarette in his hand.
The cigarette flew out in the shape of a parabola, which was neither too big nor too small. Because of the breeze, the red dot on the cigarette became brighter and brighter. When it reached the highest point, it quickly fell down and finally fell on a certain place of sand.
"Didn't you say that you want to smoke?"
"Well, I don't want it now." James said, pulling Elizabeth's arm and pulling her closer to him. Then he held Elizabeth's hand, "Now, be silence..."
"Then we..."
"Baby, listen to me, okay? Don't talk yet. Just look ahead."
As soon as James finished speaking, something sprang up in front of him. When it reached a certain height, it made a loud noise. Then Elizabeth saw a beautiful silver firework bloom in the sky, then a second, then a third... Finally, almost a long row of fireworks were ignited, crackling and blooming with their beauty.
At first, Elizabeth was shocked by the sudden loud noise, and then she froze there.
Elizabeth stared blankly at the ever- blooming fireworks. After a brief blank in her mind, she felt touched by the surprise James brought to her, that she wanted to cry out.
James had just proposed a walk together. He asked her if she wanted to watch the fireworks. He lit the cigarette but only took a puff...
It turned out that these was a "surprise" that James had prepared in advance.
The sea was dark and there were only not-so-bright lights behind them. But where they were now was as bright as day, like a fairy tale world full of romance.
Elizabeth's heart was warm and full of joy. She couldn't help but turn around and kiss the man in front of her with her toes on her feet.
"Thank you..." Thank you, James, for giving me a world of fireworks.
James was stunned by her initiative, and then he took the initiative to put his arms around her waist and hug her back. After a long time, James let go of Elizabeth. He smiled and reached out his hand to wipe the water on her lips, and then said softly, "Then let's... go back? You haven't given me the gift you prepared, Mrs. Lu."
Elizabeth smiled shyly at the heat of his eyes. She nodded and replied, "Well, I'll give it to you when we go back."
James carried her all the way back.
The gentle sea breeze was very comfortable, and James's back was warm and wide. On his back, Elizabeth two calves swung as he walked.
"Do you like it?"
Elizabeth looked back at the blooming silver fireworks. Then she turned around, and looked at James's back head, "I like it." After that, she thought for a while and added, "I like everything tonight."
How could she not like it?
