"Young Madam, I'm sorry to keep you waiting." Samuel came down in a hurry and stood in front of Elizabeth, panting slightly.
Elizabeth shook, "It's okay."
"Let's go up."
When Elizabeth got up and left, Samuel glanced at the front desk. The two receptionists who had been paying attention to Elizabeth at the front desk were shocked by this glance.
"Samuel come to pick her up in person! Who is this woman?" Looking at the back of Samuel and Elizabeth, one of them couldn't help but pat her chest with fear.
"How do I know?" The other one's face also changed instantly. "I hope she won't told president what we just said."
"Right! If that's the case, we must be fired!"
"If we had known it earlier, we should have made a back door for her."
Samuel led Elizabeth to the top floor of the president's elevator. After a little while, they arrived at the door of James's office.
"Young Madam, Mr. Lu is inside. You can go in directly. I'll make you a cup of coffee." After finishing his words, Samuel was about to leave.
Hearing this, Elizabeth waved her hand repeatedly. "No, I have some drinks, and I will leave soon. Go and do your work. Thank you for bringing me up."
When Elizabeth entered the office, although she didn't show it obviously in her expression, she couldn't help but sigh in her heart that James was too extravagant.
Samuel had mentioned that apart from James, he was also his secretary group on this floor. But one floor there covered hundreds of square meters, how wasteful it was for a few people to use such a spacious space. In such a city center that an inch of land equated gold, it was really not a reasonable use of resources.
Compared with the office outside, James's office was even more exaggerated. Although the decoration was simple, it all revealed generosity and luxury.
"You're here?"
Almost as soon as he finished speaking, James stood in front of Elizabeth.
"Yes." Elizabeth squinted at him and smiled. "Are you done with your work?"
"Well." With this, he took her hand. "Let's go for dinner. What do you want to eat, honey?"
"Why do we eat outside?" Elizabeth smiled and raised the box in her hand. "I've brought you some food."
Hearing this, James couldn't help smiling and said gently, "Lunch box of your love?" There was a bit of banter in his tone, and he winked at her when he spoke, which made Elizabeth blush. But she did not refute anything and nodded with a blush. "Yes."
James pinched her nose and said, "Thank you, Mrs. Lu."
He took her to sit down on the reception sofa. Elizabeth took the lunch boxes out and opened it one by one, and put the juice she made in front of him.
The nutrition and color were well matched. Looking at the exquisite lunch in front of him, James couldn't help recalling that when they began to know each other, she had made lunch for him several times in order to coax him. Such a long time passed, he made a whim to ask her to come to the company, but he had not expected that she would do it again.
But even so, he was not in a hurry to eat.
"Honey, have you eaten?"
"I just had breakfast when you called me. I'm not hungry yet."
