When Elizabeth went to deliver lunch to James, Samuel was still giggling. So as soon as she entered the door, she asked James in confusion, "Hey, what's wrong with Samuel? When I came here just now, I saw him smiling alone."
Hearing this, James shrugged, "Who knows!" After that, he stood up, walked to Elizabeth, and reached out to take over the lunch box from her. "He probably got up from the wrong side of the bed today. Don't worry about him. What did you bring for me today?"
"Don't comment on him like this." Elizabeth couldn't help rolling her eyes at him and then said with a compromise, "I just made a few simple dishes. I asked Jane to make some soup. You can have it back home tonight."
"Okay, let's have lunch, honey."
Since Elizabeth brought him lunch on a whim that day, James asked her to bring one more every day and asked her to accompany him to have lunch in the company. Elizabeth also thought that's good and she almost had nothing to do recently, so she agreed.
The atmosphere of their lunchtime was usually not bad, but sometimes Elizabeth would be a little angry. For example, when James threw the carrot he disliked into her bowl, she was very dissatisfied.
"James, I've made them by myself, but why do you Hearing this, James immediately smiled harmlessly. "It's hard for you to cook for me in such a hot day, so I'll reward you."
"..." Elizabeth looked at him for a while speechlessly and snorted, "Then why don't you give me the meat?"
"Meat?" James looked at her innocently. "What meat?"
She glanced at him and asked, "What do you think?"
"Oh-" He pretended to be enlightened. "You mean that?" After that, he leaned closer to her. "You're still not full. Didn't I work hard enough last night?"
"What..." Elizabeth just wanted to ask him what he was going to say, but before she reacted, her little face suddenly turned red. "You... You're really..." How could he be shameless! It's still daylight. The point was that he looked so serious, which made Elizabeth crazy.
"Then why do you still want it?
"James!"
James really liked to see her angry face which looked so interesting and shy. Now seeing her roar like this, he stopped teasing her. "I hate eating carrots most. If they are not made by you, I would throw them directly into the trash can."
"So you consider me as your trash can?" Elizabeth curled her lip. "It's good to your eyes. Just try them?"
James looked at her and shook seriously. Then he quickly picked up the lunch box in front of him, which meant that 'never think about putting them into my box'.
"My eyesight is very good. Don't worry, honey!"
"You..." Seeing him like this, Elizabeth finally shook and sighed, "Forget it."
"Love you, honey!"
"Have lunch," Elizabeth snorted and then asked, "Mom and dad are coming back soon, aren't they?" The day after they came back, they planned to send the gifts they brought back to the Lu Mansion, but James's parents went to Singapore two days before they returned home.
James chewed on rice. "I don't know."
