I Only Want You novel Chapter 351

After Miranda left, Isaac looked at the room which suddenly became quite cold. He frowned, but his heart was blazing with the flames of fury. Anger was growing, bubbling up inside him.

He turned on the phone and called Maxwell. This time, Maxwell hung up the phone, as if he was taking revenge on him on purpose.

Isaac narrowed his eyes and called him again. The result was the same. Maxwell hung up as soon as the bell rang.

Hearing the sarcastic "beep" sound on the phone, Isaac smiled weakly and painfully. He gradually laughed out loud, and his laughter became louder and louder. After a short while, his bitter and helpless laughter echoed in the slightly spacious room.

After a long time, he suddenly stopped laughing. His eyes were full of malice and viciousness. He raised his hand and threw away the cell phone fiercely.

Crack!

The phone fell to the ground and bounced, breaking into a lot of pieces.

Without even looking at the phone, Issac lifted his foot and was about to leave.

After walking for two steps, the door of the room was opened. Maxwell stood at the door. He was dressed in a dark red Tang suit with a faint smile on his face.

Squinting at Isaac who was angry, he asked blandly, "Are you angry?"

Isaac stopped and looked at Maxwell. He gritted his teeth and clenched his hands into fists tightly. He took a few deep breaths and endured the impulse to rush up to Maxwell and punch him.

Maxwell entered the room, and then the door was closed by the man behind him.

He glanced around the room, slightly raised his eyebrows, and sneered.

"Did you ask someone to give the newspaper to Aunt Miranda?" In front of Maxwell, he still addressed Miranda as "Aunt Miranda".

Maxwell walked to the sofa and sat down, "Yes, so what?"

Although Isaac had guessed that it was Maxwell who did this, he got so angry when he heard this, "How can you do that? Do you remember what you promise me?"

"I only promised you to let her go, but I didn't promise not to tell her about it." After that, he looked at Isaac who was angry, and chuckled, "Isaac, I'm doing this for your own good."

Maxwell stood up and walked to Isaac. He looked down at him and said, "Don't blame me for that. I just want Miranda to give up that thought. Adele jumped into the river indeed, and she hasn't been found yet, but I don't believe that she has died until I see her body in person. So..." Isaac sneered. Did Maxwell want Miranda to misunderstand and hate him so that she wouldn't let Adele be with him even if Adele could really come back one day? Even if Adele couldn't come back, she would know that her daughter had left the world forever, and he got engaged to another woman a few days after her daughter's death... In that case, no matter he well treated Miranda, she wouldn't want to have anything to do with him, would she?

Humph! Maxwell was really scheming!

However, he would never let him what he wanted!

Isaac only felt that it was ridiculous. He said lightly, "Yeah, you've always been meticulous. But, are you doing this for my own good? Will you care about me?" After that, he chuckled again, "You care about me, so you forced Adele to die? You care about me, so you try all means to threaten me? What have you done for my own good? Why don't I know that?"

Hearing these words, Maxwell's face suddenly darkened. He frowned unhappily, "B*stard! Do you know what you are talking about? Did I force her to die? If she didn't want to be with you and seduce you shamelessly, would I do that? What's more, did I ask her to jump into the river? So, it's all her own fault. She asked for it. Don't blame me!"

Hearing this, Isaac's eyes became bloodshot immediately. He glared at Maxwell with hatred and roared, "Maxwell!"
