Elizabeth Liang tossed and turned on her bed but just couldn't fall asleep.
Fiddling with the credit card that James Lu just gave her, she smiled faintly.
What did he say just then?
- Yes I am very rich, but my card is only for Mrs. Lu.
He was arrogant and immature, but sometimes cute too!
Elizabeth took out the brand new marriage certificate from her bedside table and was overwhelmed with emotion as she looked at it.
She was really married to James Lu!
She had planned to work hard in the Liang Company for a few years after graduation, and then enter marriage with Theodore Chao. But now...
His embrace and the temperature of his hand from this afternoon still hadn't dissipated, it still felt warm, and made her feel happy inside when she thought of it.
When he held her hand and said, "Mrs. Lu, let's go home." She could feel tears well up in her eyes, and it took everything she had to hold them back.
Go home!
At that moment, Elizabeth was deeply and profoundly grateful to James — for new- found anticipation and love for her life, and for giving her a home.
Home, her home from now on and always.

"So, you got married? Yesterday?" Evelyn Wu stared at Elizabeth with her mouth agape.
On the way to the classroom, Elizabeth saw the eyes suddenly gathered onto her and immediately reminded Evelyn, "Can't you lower your voice?"
Evelyn nodded and asked again in a quieter voice, "You're really married to James Lu? Not some guy with the same name?"
"Yes it's him!" Elizabeth was a little apprehensive and perturbed. "Evelyn, would you look down on me for this? I want to take back what belongs to me, so I..."
Miffed, Evelyn reached out and knocked on Elizabeth's head. "Are you dumb?"
Seeing Elizabeth rubbing her head, Evelyn continued, "Elizabeth, I'm your friend, I would never think that! I'm so happy that you can take back what's yours. And most of all, you married James Lu, the richest bachelor in A City! Do you know how lucky you are? I wish I could BE you, why on earth would I look down on you?"
Of course it was a good thing that Elizabeth now had somebody to rely on, no matter what she did it for!
"Really? Do you really think so?"
"Of course!" Evelyn nodded repeatedly with a dead-serious expression. "He gave you his card? What a man! He really is daddy material! I'm absolutely his number one fan from now on! So you're gonna buy me dinner right? I wanna eat at Imperial Gourmet and order every single one of their signature dishes!"
"Sure I will, but you have to keep the marriage a secret, okay?"
"Why?" Evelyn couldn't comprehend that at all. If something this amazing happened to her, she would be the first to broadcast it to the entire world!
"Didn't you see how big your reaction was? What if it's someone else? Who knows what they would think of me."
"Alright, I'll keep it secret."
"And, I'm not... planning on using his card."
"You're not gonna use your husband's card? Are you really dumb?"
Elizabeth was forced to explain her thoughts to Evelyn. Evelyn then nodded and said, "Yeah I get it, but, do you still need a part-time job?"
