"What's the matter?"
Evelyn frowned, "You are in a bad mood today, and you are busy looking for your husband, so I had no chance to tell you."
"What on earth is it?" Elizabeth sat up straight and looked at Evelyn worriedly, "Tell me." She had felt much better because of Evelyn. Hearing what Evelyn said, she was really anxious, for fear that something bad had happened to her.
"Well, do you still remember the scum, Lawrence?"
Hearing this, Elizabeth nodded, "Of course." Lawrence had deceived Evelyn. How could she forget him?
"What did he do?" Elizabeth was a little anxious, "Did he harass you again?"
"No." Evelyn shook her head with depression and said bitterly with her shoulders dropped, "But, you know what? When I went to teach Frederick yesterday, I actually saw that Lawrence in Frederick's home!"
She didn't even dare to believe it when she said this. She didn't want to have anything to do with Lawrence anymore, but she actually met her in Frederick's house!
"What?" Elizabeth paused for a moment, "You mean Lawrence? He was in Cheng's family?"
"Yes!" Evelyn swallowed and then said with hatred, "You don't know how I felt at that time. I was shocked, angry, and even nervous!"
Listening to Evelyn's words, Elizabeth felt it stranger and stranger. She was a little puzzled, "Even if you saw him, you didn't have to be nervous, did you?" At the most, she should be angry and shocked.
"This is how it happened." Evelyn sighed helplessly, "Didn't I go to teach Frederick yesterday? His grandparents went fishing. Later, Frederick said he was hungry and insisted on me going downstairs to get him some food. As soon as I went downstairs, I saw Lawrence, the jinx."
Elizabeth frowned, "And then?"
"And then?" Evelyn turned her head bitterly, "I was f*cking stupid at the time! I thought of his shameless behaviors a few days ago, so I thought that he had followed me there secretly. I went berserk, grabbed the closest vase beside me, and went to hit him."
"What happened next?"
"He was probably stunned at that time and didn't expect me to do that. However, before I hit him, he avoided it. I was so angry that I chased after him. But I was no match for him. After a while, I was exhausted and had no strength to run."
"But he smiled provocatively and even asked me if I wanted to beat him again. I..." Evelyn took a deep breath, gritted her teeth, and added, "You don't know how mean he was at that time. I was f*cking..."
Elizabeth felt nervous and asked in a hurry, "Hey, finish your words quickly. I'm so anxious now."
"You know me. I am a quite patient person, aren't I? But when I saw his smiling face, I thought of what he had done and flew into a rage. Then I threw the vase in my hand at him."
Elizabeth opened her eyes wide, "Did you hit him?"
Evelyn shook her head feebly, "No."
"That was good, wasn't it?" Elizabeth let out a sigh of relief, "It's fine that you didn't hurt him."
"It was not good at all!" Evelyn patted her forehead gloomily, "The vase didn't hit him. But as soon as the vase fell to the ground, Frederick's grandparents came back..."
"What?" Elizabeth opened her mouth and was so surprised.
