Elizabeth watched as Lydia's car left. Then she turned around and looked at the big and beautiful house blandly. She had been living here and had experienced so many warm things here.
The scenes of her living here ran through her brain.
It was really strange. She had only lived here for less than half a year, and it was not a very long time, but she had lots of memories here.
However, the more she recalled, the more painful her heart was.
In fact, she didn't want to go back here. She said that she wanted to go back to her own home. It was not here.
Staring at the house in a daze for a while, she smiled gently and slowly turned around...
Samuel stood outside the door, "Mr. Lu, you're here."
James nodded slightly, "Where are they?"
"Inside the room."
"Mmm," James replied and then tipped
Samuel a wink.
Samuel understood what he meant and turned to open the door in a hurry.
It was dark in the room, and only a lower-wattage incandescent lamp was turned on. As soon as James stepped into the room, he couldn't help frowning due to the extremely shabby environment and the dim light.
Steady and calm footsteps were heard. Sitting on the wooden chair, Genevieve was so agitated and flustered.
She was brought to this small and dark house from the playground. As soon as she entered the room, she was tied up with a rope, and her mouth was stuffed with a towel, which made her unable to make a sound.
James stopped a few steps away from Genevieve and glanced at her indifferently. He looked imposing and commanding.
Being looked at by him, Genevieve's heart shook violently, and her body begun to tremble uncontrollably.
She was really scared.
She didn't know that Elizabeth had actually married James until that day. She had bullied Elizabeth badly, and... James asked someone to bring her here. She didn't know what James would do to her.
"Oh..." Genevieve shook her head in panic, but she couldn't say anything.
James raised his eyebrows and said to the bodyguard beside him, "Take away the stuff in her mouth!" Then he glanced at the boy next to Genevieve, "As well as his."
Genevieve gulped for air at first, and then ignored the pain in her mouth and said urgently, "James... why did you bring me here? Do you know you're kidnapping me?"
Hearing this, James sneered with disdain.
"Genevieve, stop talking." The boy who pursued Genevieve persuaded her in a trembling voice, and then looked at James in fear, "Mr. Lu, please forgive me and let me go." He felt that he was really unlucky to have met Genevieve.
She even dared to provoke James at this time. Wasn't she afraid that James would be even angrier?
