After Lydia and Auntie Chang left, Elizabeth went to the bathroom. She was not in a hurry to lie on the bed. Instead, she went to the balcony and stood there to watch the scenery outside.
It was fall, and many leaves began to turn yellow. From the angle she was standing, she could only see a small part of trees, but she was glad when she saw those green and yellow leaves.
She lay on the bed every day. Except for watching TV and playing her mobile phone sometimes, all she could see were white walls, which made her depressed and bored.
"Young Madam, you'd better go back and lie on the bed. You can't stand for a long time now." Jane came out and said with concern.
Elizabeth pursed her lips, "I'll just stand here for a little longer. Jane, I lie on the bed every day, and I almost don't know how to walk."
Looking at Elizabeth's aggrieved and slightly coquettish face, Jane laughed, "We should listen to the doctor's words, shouldn't we? You have just got a little better, and you can't be capricious."
"James is not here today, and mom has also left. Just let me stand here for a little while, okay?"
Jane shook her head, "We don't know when Young Master will go back. Besides, if he knows this, he'll be unhappy."
"He won't know this if we don't tell him." As Elizabeth said this, she blinked her eyes and looked at Jane, "Please! I lie on the bed every day, and my whole body is stiff."
Jane was softhearted, and Elizabeth looked so pitiful, so she was about to nod and agree with her.
However, James's angry face suddenly flashed through her mind. She frowned and finally chose to shake her head, "No, Young Madam. You have been standing here for a while. The wind is strong here, and you don't wear much. What if you catch a cold?"
Seeing that Elizabeth did not speak, Jane had to persuade her patiently and kindly, "You are a mother now. From now on, you'd better not catch a cold. Otherwise, it will have a bad impact on the child if you have to take medicine and get an injection."
After hearing Jane's words, although Elizabeth still wanted to stay outside, she knew that Jane was doing this for her own good.
After thinking about it, she had to nod sullenly, "All right."
Hearing this, Jane breathed a sigh of relief, "Okay, Young Madam, let me help you."
As soon as Elizabeth entered the room, she couldn't do anything and could only stay in bed.
After standing outside for a while, she only felt that lying down like this was really uncomfortable, but she knew that it was impossible for her to run out again.
Seeing Jane sitting by her side, she came up with an idea and said to her with a smile, "Jane."
"Yeah, Young Madam." Jane quickly stood up and walked to the bed, "What can I do for you?"
"Well..." Saying this, Elizabeth paused for a moment, and then narrowed her eyes and smiled very cutely, "I'm a little hungry."
"What?" Jane was a little surprised. After all, it had only been an hour since Elizabeth ate her meal. Why was she hungry again?
However, when she thought that Elizabeth was pregnant, she knew that it was normal for her to eat a lot and get hungry so soon.
Therefore, she did not think much and just
said, "What do you want to eat? The dishes brought by Madam have been eaten up, but I brought you the soup I cooked. I'll heat it up for you. You can eat some chicken meat by the way. I cooked it for several hours and it is so delicious."
