There was no response from the door.
"Jane..." Elizabeth felt it strange and raised her head. When she saw Zena standing at the door, the smile on her face faded, and she frowned immediately.
Elizabeth sat up a little straight, "It's you?"
Although she asked Zena in this way, she didn't sound very surprised. There was no emotion in her simple words, and her tone was somewhat unpleasant.
Zena raised her eyebrows and looked at Elizabeth indifferently. She just looked at Elizabeth without saying anything. Her makeup was exquisite and perfect, but her expression was apathetic.
After a long while, she said lightly, "Yeah, it's me." Saying this, she closed the door and walked toward Elizabeth elegantly and slowly in her high-heeled shoes.
The sounds of the high heels hitting the ground were not very crisp, but Elizabeth's heart trembled when she heard that.
Zena stood by the bed and looked down at
Elizabeth with a calm face, saying, "What's wrong? Are you very surprised?"
Elizabeth didn't answer her immediately. She just leaned back on the pillow before saying, "What do you want me to say?"
"You can say whatever you want. I don't care much about it."
"Okay." Elizabeth nodded blandly, "I'm a little surprised to see you indeed. But... do you want to know how I'm really feeling?"
"Uh-huh?"
Elizabeth sneered and said very straightforwardly, "I'm unhappy."
Zena narrowed her eyes, but she didn't seem to be angry because of this.
"If you were me, would you be in a good mood when you see such a disgusting woman?" Elizabeth shook her head, "So, please go out. You're not welcomed here."
She really didn't expect that Zena would come here. After so many things, she thought that Zena would be too embarrassed to see her again. No, she thought that Zena would never appear in front of her or James again.
However, she underestimated Zena.
But it was reasonable. Since Zena could lie to her shamelessly and chase after James after breaking up with James's brother, how could she be thin-skinned?
However, she really did not welcome Zena. The reason why she was lying here was that Zena lied to her. Fortunately, she was lucky and the child was still in her belly, otherwise...
"You're not the owner of the hospital. I don't need your welcome." Zena snorted and touched her hair that hung over her right shoulder, "Besides, I didn't come here for your 'welcome'."
Elizabeth ignored her last sentence and just said, "It's true that I don't own it. But now, this room belongs to me temporarily. So, I have the right to ask you to go out."
As soon as she saw Zena, she couldn't help but think of the horrors, helplessness and fear of that day. It was all Zena's fault!
"Should I leave just because you ask me to leave?" Zena smiled mockingly, "Who do you think you are?"
