Samuel had been waiting for James in the underground parking lot. When he saw James park his car in his special parking space, he rushed over, "Mr. Lu!"
"Mm." James opened the car door and got out of the car, "Where is he?"
"In the reception room. He has been waiting for you for almost two hours."
Hearing this, James raised his eyebrows, "What? He has waited for two hours, but you called me an hour ago." Although he said so, he was not angry at all. Instead, he smiled. It seemed that he was in a good mood.
Samuel had been working for James for so many years, so he knew what James was thinking about. He grinned, "If I don't do this, how can I show your severity? Am I right?"
"Yeah."
"But, Mr. Lu, you're so fast that you've made a progress so quickly."
Hearing this, James raised his head, glanced at him and scolded him with a smile, "Are you talking about something else in a roundabout way?"
"No! That's not what I mean." Samuel waved his hand repeatedly, "I don't dare to do that." Even if he wanted to speak ill of James, could he say it in front of him? He didn't want to be fired.
"It's good that you know it."
Samuel was silent for a while and then asked, "Well... Mr. Lu, shall we go upstairs now?"
"What's the hurry?" James said blandly, "He has been waiting for two hours. Why don't we keep him waiting?" After that, he took out two cigarettes from his pocket and threw one to Samuel, "Go upstairs after smoking."
"Alright."
As soon as James entered the office, he walked to the desk and ordered Samuel without looking back, "Call him in."
Not long after, Albert appeared in the office.
Looking at James's leisurely appearance, he thought that he had waited outside for almost three hours and was very angry in heart, but he had to endure his anger for his company and said with a smile, "Jimmy."
James turned the chair and looked at Albert's face. This time, he didn't even greet Albert.
Albert frowned slightly, but he knew that it was not the time to care about these details. He walked in quickly, "I waited for you for a long time, and they told me that you were not in the company."
"Thanks to you and your daughter, I have been staying at home to accompany my wife recently. I really have no time."
Albert paused for a second, "Are you still angry about what happened before?"
James did not answer him. He put one hand on the desk and knocked his fingers casually. The sounds were not loud, but dull.
Seeing James's attitude, Albert no longer beat around the bush and went straight to the point, "You didn't allow Zena to work in the design circle anymore, and she agreed. She even didn't work part-time in A University anymore. What else do you want from us?"
After saying this, he was still mad and added, "You have a good reputation outside. It's said that you're a nice man of your word. I watched you grow up and also think that you are a good young man. You have punished Zena, but why do you still want to aim at my company?"
