James sighed, "Well!" Then he couldn't help but shake his head. "Ben, look at you. How hard it is for you! You are not young anymore. It's not easy for you to fall in love with a someone. But it seems your efforts were in vain."
"If you continue to talk nonsense, I don't think it's necessary for us to keep talking."
"Look at you, are you in a hurry now?" James snorted and said, "I guess you will cry once you know Evelyn is in love."
Upon hearing this, Benjamin narrowed his eyes. "Are you sure?"
James had already got what he wanted, so he didn't keep him in suspense. "She came yesterday because of it. But I heard from my wife that it seems to be true."
Benjamin's face suddenly darkened.
"Well, don't be too pessimistic and desperate. I think she has made up her mind but hasn't started dating."
Hearing it, Benjamin's facial expression relaxed a lot in an instant.
"Girls...Well, I should say women are sometimes indecisive. However, their indecisive nature may give you extra opportunities." James grinned, "So, will you seize this opportunity? Well, aren't I your competent intelligence agent after you told me last time?"
Benjamin snorted, "If you are competent, how come you didn't share with me until now?"
"I didn't know until last night. What's wrong? Shall I keep asking my wife about her every day? What will my wife think? Maybe she will misunderstand that I have fallen in love with Evelyn."
Benjamin ignored James's complains and asked directly, "Do you know who he is?" He paused for a few seconds and then said, "Or, is it Lawrence?"
James raised his eyebrows. "Indeed."
Benjamin frowned for a long time.
"Ben, I have to say it. When you had crush for Evelyn, didn't I tell you that it will be hard for you whether she dates with Lawrence or not?" James paused for a few seconds, "As for now, it will more difficult."
The two men from the same family fell in love with the same woman. And the two men weren't peers.
"I've already told you not to worry about it."
"So?" James looked at Benjamin. "What are you going to do? Give up or continue?"
Benjamin harrumphed softly but said nothing. However, the look in his eyes seemed to have explained everything.
James smiled and said, "Well, I have said what I should say, then I will go first. You..." He stood up, looked at Benjamin and said, "Think about it carefully."
Benjamin nodded slightly and did not say anything.
"However, if you still intend to do that, you have to hurry up. Don't wait until they start dating and then come in between. It will harm you, Lawrence, or even Evelyn."
"I know."
"I won't tell my wife about this. Let's talk about it later."
Things about love always depended on fate. Although Ben liked Evelyn, no one knew what would happen later.
It would make everyone nervous if he said it out. If Ben gave up, Lawrence and Evelyn would be embarrassed meeting him later.
Therefore, it was better not to tell her.
"All right."
After James left, Benjamin didn't get up for a long time. It seemed that he had forgotten that there was still a meeting waiting for him.
