I Only Want You novel Chapter 901

20 hours later.

Xavier came out of the airport and took a taxi.

Standing out of the white iron gate, he felt a heavy heart.

He finally came to this place.

He had clearly said that he would not come before.

But he was standing outside the door at the address Elizabeth passed to him for Zena. It seemed that everything was not so real.

This place was a bit remote, but the scenery was not bad. There were lush trees all around, and there were many flowers and plants on the ground floor.

The iron gate was not closed, leaving a crack. Xavier didn't think about why it was open or whether others would go in freely.

He stared at the door for a long time. Finally, after taking a deep breath, he pushed open the door.

Before he stepped in, he was surprised at what he saw.

All the rooms in the house were connected to one big room. It was decorated like a boutique gallery.

However, his paintings were not hung on the walls. Instead, they were all covered with clothes and placed on the frames.

The room was extra clean. It must be regularly cleaned.

He took a quick deep breath and stepped in.

As soon as he entered, a delightful female voice suddenly sounded.

"Welcome to Xavier's home."

Xavier was so surprised that he widened his eyes.

He could tell that it was Zena's voice immediately, even if he had tried to forget her. However, how could he hear her voice since Zena had been in prison?

After a while, he plucked up to look in the direction of the voice and realized what was going on.

It was a sensor placed at the door.

It must have been set there by Zena.

The voice was delightful and sweet. It sounded as if there was her house as well.

Xavier pursed his lips, trying to ignore the complex feelings. He walked through the paintings displayed on both sides of the house one by one and found that there was a small card attached to each of them that briefly introduced the painting.

—"Wait for Dawn. Xavier’s desires."

Xavier clenched his fists and turned down the cloth. What he saw was the first painting he drew when he first came here. There was a black cat curled up in the corner with a vague black outline of a big tree next to it. As the wind blew, a lot of garbage was rolled up, but the cat did not move. It just looked straight at a light in the distance.

The cat was himself.

When he saw the painting years after, he was deeply moved. The despair and pain he had once felt were no longer as strong as before.

He walked to the next one and found the introduction card as well.

—"Desire. Xavier's inner voice."
