In the end, Isaac followed them to propose a toast.
James and Benjamin tried to persuade him, but Isaac insisted on going, so they had to agree.
"Congratulations, Mr. Lu, Mrs. Lu. You're a perfect match. I wish you two a hundred years of happiness, and I wish that you could live together till old and grey."
James clinked glasses with him and said, "Thank you. I'm very grateful that you came over to attend my wedding in your busy schedule."
Elizabeth held a cup of fruit juice and said, "Thank you."
"That's what I should do." The man said with a smile.
Then, he clinked glasses with Elizabeth.
They kept proposing a toast to guests one by one like this for two hours.
Evelyn had been following Elizabeth. On the one hand, there were so many people here and she had to take care of Elizabeth so that she wouldn't fall down. On the other hand, she didn't want to face Benjamin.
However, what made her relieved was that Benjamin was not in the good mood anymore. He didn't smile all the way, and of course, he didn't say a word to her. Except for drinking for James from time to time, he talked to Isaac occasionally.
But she could tell that Isaac wasn't in a very good mood, and Benjamin was taking care of his mood.
Humph! Benjamin was actually kindhearted.
But no matter what, she was very grateful that he did not trouble her and didn't speak to her. She didn't care what kind of person she was!
However, she was a little tired after walking and standing for a long time.
She wore a pair of high heels. Her legs were so sore and numb that she had a feeling that her legs were not hers.
Naturally, Elizabeth was also very tired. After standing for so long, she sat in the lounge and yelled that she wanted to have a good sleep on the bed.
"Where can I get a bed for you now?" Evelyn laughed and said, "You'd better eat something." She brought a bowl of porridge, "Your mother-in-law asked someone to send it here just now, and the temperature is just right. You've been busy all day, and you haven't eaten anything except for the breakfast. You can't starve now. This is what your mother-in-law said."
Elizabeth looked at the bowl of porridge in front of her and said with a frown on her delicate face, "I have starved today. I just want to sleep now."
Evelyn shook her head, "You must eat it. This is the task your mother-in-law gave me. She is greeting guests outside now, or she would have come to you by herself. Besides, even if she didn't say it, I would ask you to eat it. I wouldn't care about you if you were not pregnant."
"I know." Elizabeth was drowsy, "I'm sleepy now, and I've been walking for so long today. I'm really tired." After that, she looked at Evelyn pitifully, "Evelyn, shall I lie on the sofa for a while first? I'm about to fall asleep."
"No." Evelyn was determined, "Sleep after eating it. It's porridge, not fish or meat. It won't take you much time to eat. Just listen to me!"
"What's wrong?" As soon as James walked to the door, he heard what Evelyn said.
Evelyn looked at James, "Elizabeth said that she is weary and wants to sleep. She doesn't want to eat."
Elizabeth glanced at Evelyn helplessly, and then looked at James, "I am really sleepy now. Can you let me sleep for a while?"
"How can you sleep without eating?" James said in a soft voice, "Now you..."
Before he could finish his words, Elizabeth took his hand and shook it twice, saying coquettishly, "You don't know that I really want to have a good sleep on the bed now."
