"Eudora is Grandma's surrogate granddaughter. That is what I should do," Colbert replied to Alva indifferently.
His words were official, even a little indifferent.
"Colbert, where did you find her?" Alva asked again.
Colbert glanced at Eudora and replied to Alva, "She went to the countryside to adjust her mood. There's no need to worry about her so much. Now that she is back, you should go home and tell your parent about this good news."
"Yeah. Let Corey drive you back and pick your parents up here. Let's have dinner together tonight."
Belinda was immersed in joy. She was delighted to see Eudora.
Alva clenched her fists. Nails dug into her palms. Seeing Belinda's warm attitude toward Eudora, she was very jealous. But she could only nod obediently and said, "Okay, Grandma. I'll go home first. Eudora, stay here and chat with Grandma."
Eudora didn't bother to talk to Alva. She ignored her words and chatted with Belinda. "When did you leave the hospital? How do you feel recently?"
"I'm in good health. The blood clot in my brain has been absorbed. The doctor told me to take a good rest."
Eudora and Belinda chatted warmly. Colbert turned around and went to the side to make a phone call.
In the living room, only Alva was standing there alone.
Alva glared at Eudora, then turned and left with anger.
In the living room, Belinda held Eudora's hand and led her to sit on the sofa. She held Eudora's face and looked at her carefully.
