Cornelia said, "What's the big deal? Let's go grab some breakfast. The hotel has a ton of options and they're pretty good. We can stuff ourselves and then I'll go house hunting with you."
Hannah eyed Cornelia, wondering if the girl had split personalities. Cornelia said, "Why are you staring at me like that? Is there something on my face?"
Hannah asked, "You remember I'm looking for a house? Do you also remember what happened after you got drunk?"
Cornelia said, "People always say you forget what you do when you're drunk, but anyone who's been drunk knows, alcohol makes you sharp."
"So..." Hannah wasn't sure what Cornelia meant.
Cornelia said, "Letting out all the emotions you keep bottled up is actually a good thing. Once it's all out, I can really let go of the past and start fresh."
"You're amazing!" Hannah spread her arms wide and hugged Cornelia.
Cornelia smiled, "You have to go through a few hiccups to grow. After all these curveballs, I'll make myself tougher."
"Just don't get too tough, remember we're here for you." Hannah said.
"Sure." Cornelia said.
......
Hannah had money to burn. She took a liking to a house in Blueshell Mansion, paid the deposit right away and bought it in a few days.
On moving day, Cornelia was there with Hannah. She had just submitted her comic. The new one hadn't started yet so she was free. But once Hannah was settled in Riverton, Cornelia would start on her new comic.
That day, the two of them stood in front of Hannah's new floor-to-ceiling window with a sea view. Hannah suddenly said, "Cornelia, you're Nelly Belly, right?"
