Cornelia just yawned, but in Granny Luisa's mind, she had already imagined a hundred and eight possibilities.
Even though the possibility of Cornelia being pregnant was slim, Granny Luisa still cautiously asked, "Nelly, have you been sleeping well lately?"
Before Cornelia could answer, Patricia chimed in, "Nelly has been super busy lately. Sometimes she just crashes right after work. Even dozed off in her study a few times."
Cornelia laughed and said, "Granny, don't listen to Patricia. My work isn't that exhausting, it's just that I've been feeling really sleepy lately. Maybe it's the cold weather. It's so comfy that I just want to sleep."
Granny Luisa started getting excited, "Patricia, is Nelly exceptionally tired?"
Patricia caught on immediately, "Granny Luisa, she does seem to be."
Granny Luisa asked again, "Any other symptoms? Like, Nelly, give Patricia your phone. I need to check with her and see if she's been taking good care of you."
Cornelia obediently handed her phone to Patricia, "Granny, Patricia has been taking good care of me. I only got chubby from eating her cooking, don't blame her."
Patricia had already guessed what Granny Luisa was thinking. She took the phone and retreated to her room.
As soon as the door closed, Granny Luisa couldn't wait, "Patricia, could Nelly be pregnant? Has she had her period recently?"
Patricia thought hard, "I've been living with Nelly for over a month now, I don't think I've seen her have her period."
No period, the probability of being pregnant just skyrocketed. Granny Luisa was so excited that her hands were trembling, "Any other reactions from Nelly?"
