Daniela's got Salazar Corporation backing her up, and Hannah knew she was no match for that. Not to mention that Steven was behind Daniela. And who was Steven? Others might not know him well, but Hannah did. She'd been by Steven's side for so many years and had gotten a taste of his tactics.
Hannah wasn't giving up. She'd just been in this circle for so long, and she knew all the dirty secrets and ugly truths down to her bones. She also knew that ordinary people in this circle were like tiny ants. If Daniela wanted to hurt her, it would be a piece of cake.
Cornelia was worried sick, "Hannah, tell me what's going on, I can help you."
Hannah laughed, "Nelly, if you really consider me a friend, then drop it and don't interfere. What you need to do now is take care of yourself and the baby."
Cornelia had just given birth, Marcus' company had gone under, and he was still very weak. Hannah didn't want to bother them with her issues.
Cornelia said, "Hannah."
Hannah said, "Nelly, trust me, I know what's best for me. I gotta go now, I might not be able to see you off when you're discharged. Let's meet in Riverton when I'm back."
After saying this, Hannah left.
No sooner had she left the hospital than her agent was on the phone, "Hannah, what's going on?"
Hannah said, "Exactly what you see."
