Cornelia told Zack she was coming back to Riverton today and brought a female friend. So, Zack drove to the airport to pick them up.

When Cornelia came out of the airport, Zack not only gave her a hug but also naturally took her suitcase, just like an old friend would.

All of this happened right in front of Marcus!

In front of him, Zack told Cornelia, "I heard you were bringing a friend back, so Abby immediately booked a table with great food and drinks at Savor Symphony."

"Abby knows me too well." Cornelia immediately introduced them, "Skyler, this is my good friend Zack. Zack, this is Skyler. Treat her just like you treat Abby and me."

Zack responded right away, "Your friends are my friends. Skyler, don't worry, I got your back in Riverton."

Skyler laughed, "Nice to meet you!"

"President Hartley, Skyler and I will take Zack's car back to the city." Cornelia informed Marcus and then walked towards Zack's affordable car with them, laughing and chatting without noticing Marcus's mood change.

Marcus lit a cigarette, silently watching Cornelia walk towards Zack's car.

Dr. Dawson looked at Marcus, feeling sorry for him, "Marc, Cornelia is your wife! Can you stand another man taking your wife away right in front of you?"

Marcus didn't rush, calmly taking a puff from his cigarette, "Skyler is still weak, you're the doctor."
