Marcus said, "Cornelia."
Cornelia tried to clear her jumbled thoughts, "President Hartley, what's up?"
Marcus asked, "What are you thinking?"
"I heard you can't satisfy your wife and your marriage might as well be non-existent. No wonder you suspected her of cheating." This thought could only stay in her head, something Cornelia could never tell him, "Nothing in particular."
Marcus didn’t respond.
Little liar! That little liar! The look in her eyes clearly showed she had got something on her mind, but she still denied it. But if she wouldn't spill, there was nothing he could do.

The next stop was a viewing platform. From there, Sapphire Lake looked like a giant mirror reflecting the snow-capped mountains, utterly mesmerizing.
Hence, this spot was a major tourist magnet.
Lots of tourists were snapping pictures and Cornelia really wanted to join in. But she was on duty, so no could do.
As soon as Cornelia had this thought, Marcus said, "This spot is said to offer the best view of Sapphire Lake. Wanna get off and check it out?"
He could tell from her expression that she was eager to get off and explore. So he asked her.
