Sabrina, tall and quick, decided to take Cornelia down. However, Ayden stood in front of Cornelia, blocking Sabrina’s way to her.
Ayden did nothing but stand in front of Cornelia. As Sabrina rushed towards them, she collided with him, hitting her nose and causing tears to flow from the pain.
Holding her nose, she cursed loudly, "You're that woman named Cornelia. You've bewitched my son."
"Your son is lusting after other people's wives every day. It's your son who has no shame! How can you blame others for tempting your son!" Cornelia had no desire to argue with such a person, "Ayden, let's go!"
"You hit someone and now you want to leave? Where do you think this is? You can just come and go as you please?" Sabrina went to the door, pressed the alarm, and shouted, "Someone broke into my house and hit me. Everyone come here, get these two and take them to the police."
The rest of the Padilla family were not at home, and the sound attracted a passing neighbor, who came to the door and asked, "Sabrina, what happened?"
Sabrina said, "Two bad guys broke into our house, and hit Roman. You go inform the villagers, don't let them get away."
The neighbor said, "The Hartley Group sent a truck of cash, distributing money to the villagers, and everyone's gone to get the money. No one has time for your drama."
It turned out it was Marcus meddling, Sabrina was furious.
Sabrina asked, "So no one's gonna deal with this?"
Cornelia didn't respond.
Suddenly, she felt upset for the money! Marcus was squandering money again!
She'd rather be thrown in jail for a few days, or be beaten, than watching those bills flow into other people's pockets.
The village chief rode over on his motorcycle, "Sabrina, Roman's hurt, he should go to the hospital immediately. You don't need to worry about the rest."
Sabrina got the hint, "So you mean it doesn't matter that Roman was hit, and we can't punish the person who did it?"
The village chief leaned in and whispered, "You know who you've offended, don't you? Do you think you can mess with Marcus? Many people in our village depend on the Hartley Group to live, and no one wants to upset him just for helping your. Just hearing about his methods is enough to scare the villagers, who would dare to stand up against him?"
Sabrina exclaimed in frustration, "We didn't offend Marcus. The person who hit now is not Marcus, but this woman!"
The village chief had no patience for such a stubborn person, "Don't play dumb. If you're willing to listen to me, I'll arrange for someone to take Roman to the hospital now; if not, you figure it out."
After saying this seriously, the village chief turned to Cornelia, his attitude changing significantly, "Cornelia, I'll arrange for someone to take you two out of this village immediately."
