Impulsive Vow to an Enigmatic Husband novel Chapter 836

Under everybody's watchful eyes, Marcus took Cornelia on his back and left the bar. The bar was on the 69th floor of a skyscraper, so they took the elevator down. The elevator stopped at some floor, more people got in, and all eyes were instinctively on them.

Cornelia, under the influence of alcohol, had lost her usual composure. When people stared at Marcus, she suddenly covered his eyes with her hands.

"What are you looking at? Keep staring at him and I'll lose it. He's my husband, and we're together, so no funny business."

To back up her words, she leaned in and planted several kisses on his face, "Haha, his face is all marked up from my kisses. He's my man, and nobody better get any ideas."

With his eyes covered, Marcus couldn't see anything, but he could feel her kissing him, and her body pressing against his. His ears turned beet red.

But Cornelia didn't realize how much she was affecting him, she just kept showing off. "He's my man! He's my husband!"

Like a child, she loudly announced to everyone they came across that he was her husband.

Soon, the elevator reached the ground floor, and Marcus carried Cornelia out of the building and headed toward Blueshell Mansion. This place was the busiest part of Riverton. Even though it was 11 at night, there were still many people around.

Every time someone looked their way, Cornelia would loudly announce, "He's my husband!"

Although it made Marcus feel awkward, he didn't stop her.
