Cornelia led Marcus and the others upstairs, stopping in front of the door. She tried to unlock it but found the lock had been changed. Instantly, Cornelia knew this was Robison's doing. "Granny Luisa, wait here. I'll go sort it out."
Marcus immediately said, "I'll go with you."
"No need, help me hold this." Cornelia carefully handed Granny Rebecca's urn to Marcus. "Don't worry, I'll be right back."
Marcus was bound to worry if Cornelia went alone. But with Ayden around, Marcus was confident no one would mess with her, so he let her go.
Cornelia came downstairs alone and saw Cristina still walking back and forth outside the elevator, just like a sneaky thief. Seeing Cornelia coming down, she quickly put on a fake smile. "You bitch, I offered to to have you my house, but you insist bringing them upstairs. What's the point?"
Cornelia didn't have the patience for chit-chat. "Give me the key."
"The key is with Robison. Go find him if you want it," Cristina retorted.
Cornelia glared at her, "Are you really not giving it to me?"
Cristina played dumb, "What? What do you want from me?"
"I once sent Robison to jail for a few days. Wouldn't mind doing the same for you," Cornelia shot back.
