Leonardo, after being picked on by everyone, said, "Cornelia, your double standards are just too blatant."
Cornelia shot back, "Got a problem with it?"
Leonardo retorted, "What could I possibly say?"
Cornelia said, "Good."
Leonardo added, "If you guys keep messing with me, I'm outta here."
But nobody cared.
He didn't really want to leave anyway. He had nothing to do at home and his new girlfriend had gone to the Capital; there was no way she'd be back anytime soon.
Then, the doorbell rang again. Cornelia rushed to answer it because she knew it had to be Granny Luisa and Briana. When she opened the door, not only Granny Luisa and Briana were there, but a bunch of others too, each one holding a fancy gift box.
Cornelia said, "Granny Luisa, I just invited you for dinner, why are you bringing me gifts?"
Granny Luisa replied, "You moved to a new place, of course I'd bring a gift." She directed everyone to move the gifts into the house and line them up near the balcony in the living room.
When all the gifts were set, a small mountain of gifts emerged in the living room.
Leonardo asked, "Granny Luisa, what kind of gifts did you bring?"
Granny Luisa replied, "Wanna know? Let Nelly open them."
Leonardo said to Cornelia, "I can keep being your maid for free. Help you unwrap these."
Cornelia replied, "Sure."
