The arrival was the woman Marcus mentioned last night, the one who made Cornelia jealous. Her name was Sallie.
She knew that Cornelia was Marcus' wife, but she wasn't sure if Marcus had told Cornelia about this, so she still addressed her as Ms. Stewart.
Cornelia remained silent, curious to see how Marcus would handle the situation.
"I'm taking my wife to Rosenberg. What about you?" Marcus asked.
"I'm also going to Rosenberg." Sallie replied, looking at Cornelia with a smile, "Should I start calling you Mrs. Hartley then?"
"No need for formalities, you can call me by my name." Cornelia replied.
"When did you two learn about each other's true identity?" Sallie asked.
Upon hearing this, Cornelia knew that Sallie was aware of their situation, and she was a bit irritated that Marcus was so careless about their private life, "Do you know a lot about us?"
Sallie laughed, "Marcus has few female friends. I happen to be his college friend and he often asks for my advice."
Staring at Marcus, Cornelia responded with a smile, "President Hartley, I just discovered that you have such a close friend."
Marcus didn't get the sarcasm and earnestly explained, "I mentioned her last night. Have you forgotten?"
Cornelia was speechless. She really wanted to bite him! This annoying man!
Sallie, being a woman, noticed right away that Cornelia was jealous. She deliberately moved closer to Marcus, "My relationship with Marc is more than just friends."
Cornelia was stunned. Was this woman really that arrogant?
