Chapter 137 Pressure From All Sides
After Amanda mentioned it, Anastasia remembered what Molly had brought up.
She recounted Molly's project.
Amanda couldn't help but complain, "Such a crappy drama actually came to me? It's ridiculous! This young girl has no sense of reality and wants to step on me to fly higher?"
Anastasia tried to comfort her, but Amanda hung up the phone before calming down.
Anastasia could only ask Baxter to appease Amanda.
That afternoon, Julian called Anastasia and asked her to come to his office.
He was being quite serious, which was unusual.
Anastasia knocked on the door and entered.
She was surprised to see both Walter and Molly in Julian's office.
Julian reached out and greeted her. "Ms. Graves, come in. Do you know Mr. Parker?"
"Of course, we've met before."
Anastasia smiled and walked over, sitting across from Julian.
Molly stood behind Walter and didn't take a seat.
Walter had a slight smirk on his face. "Ms. Graves has quite an attitude. I invited her for coffee, but she refused. She has too big an ego to agree with my invitation!"
Julian chuckled. "She doesn't even think highly of me, let alone you."
Walter stiffened slightly and looked at him. "Mr. Quinn, after so many years of friendship, are you still joking with me like this?"
"Alright, enough. Just tell me why you called her here."
Julian smiled and defused the tension.
Walter's face remained stiff. "Molly has a project and needs an actor. Coincidentally, Ms. Graves is quite familiar with this actor. We wanted her help, but unfortunately, she refused. I guess Molly's reputation isn't enough, so I thought if both of us join in, it should be convincing enough, right?"
