Madam, Your Ex-Husband Is On Call novel Chapter 43

Chapter 43 Christian Felt Kind of Disappointed

Recalling that Christian had been beaten for her just now, Anastasia had a strange feeling in her heart, but she quickly suppressed it.

She nodded solemnly, treating him like an outsider.

"Okay. That's what I should do. I'll also pay for the expense of the treatment."

Christian breathed a sigh of relief and raised his eyebrow slightly.

"See, she is really worried about me. And she must be moved a lot by what I did for her!" He thought.

He was planning to further ease the stiff relationship with her.

A woman came out of the private room upstairs. She screamed and ran to Christian's side, trembling with worry.

"Christian, I heard you were injured. Where does it hurt?"

Beatrice was so tender that she wanted to cling to him, and she burst into tears of worry.

The atmosphere turned cold for an instant.

Christian frowned and was about to push Beatrice away when he heard Anastasia next to him chuckle.

"It seems that you don't need me to take you to the hospital. Mr. Patterson, you can ask me for reimbursement after seeing the doctor."

While speaking, she turned around and left quickly.

Christian pressed his lips together tightly and pushed Beatrice away with a cold expression.

"Why are you here? You should have looked after Charlie."

Beatrice froze, feeling a little embarrassed. She sniffed.

"Terence and I were having dinner with the director of the TV station in the private room..."

Christian narrowed his eyes and looked kind of indifferent.

"It seems that you are determined to stay?"

He originally arranged for Beatrice to take Charlie abroad.

But Beatrice went to ask Terence for help behind Christian's back!

Beatrice pursed her lips carefully and reached out her hand to wipe away the tears from the corners of her eyes. She looked very pitiful.

"Charlie is still young. I will only think about Donny if I go abroad now. I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself..."
