Chapter 499 Confrontation with a Love Rival in Person

Cecelia kicked back in a cozy cradle chair, surrounded by kids, checking out the stage.

When the curtain swung open, bam! There it was-a white piano hogging the spotlight with a man seated in front of it.

A ray of light beamed down, giving the guy a celestial glow.

His golden locks were practically sparkling, and his hands danced on the piano keys, conjuring up some spellbinding tunes.

The whole banquet hall was filled with the sweet sounds of the piano, and people were losing it.

Some had already recognized him and exclaimed.

"Whoa, that's Kyson, the piano prince, ain't it?"

"Kyson's in the house! Can you believe they snagged him for this shindig?"

"If Kyson's here, the Royal Orchestra's gotta be in tow, right?"

Cecelia and the gang were all ears, soaking in the piano magic.

Her eyes were glued to the piano man. Kyson wasn't just any dude; he earned the title "piano prince" thanks to his royal roots in Anglas and his uncanny resemblance to elf prince Orlando.

Kyson had been teaming up with the Royal Orchestra for ages, and at every international gig, he'd steal the show with a solo piano performance.

The dude was on fire in the global music scene, and scoring tickets to his concerts was like winning the lottery.

Tonight's live show was off the charts, all thanks to his bro pulling strings to get the piano prince and the Royal Orchestra on stage.

Sam checked out the show and slyly sidled up to Remington. "Boss, gotta admit, the international twist on this performance is pretty darn impressive, huh?"

"Hell yeah, it's solid!" Remington gave a firm nod of approval.

After Kyson's piano masterpiece, the spotlight did a round, revealing the Royal Orchestra lurking in the shadows.

The conductor, looking sharp in a tailcoat, gave a nod to Cecelia's crew. With a flick of his baton, the orchestra kicked off their set. Let the music party begin!

Whether it was the grand and majestic parts, the beautiful and romantic tunes, or the deeply moving melodies, the music spoke volumes.

No doubt, the globally famous Royal Orchestra had this magical ability to cleanse souls with their enchanting music.

The whole performance was a hit, and as the orchestra wrapped up, the entire crowd jumped to their feet, clapping and cheering.

The conductor and the orchestra members stood up, acknowledging the thunderous applause. Kyson also got up.

Surprisingly, after the performance, Kyson whipped out a bunch of flowers from who-knows-where and strolled over to Cecelia, holding them out.

Everybody thought he was just the messenger for the Royal Orchestra, delivering birthday wishes to the birthday girl. But when Kyson reached Cecelia, he got all warm and fuzzy.

"Hey there, dear Leah! It's been ages. Happy birthday!"

"Long time no see, Kyson!"

Kyson smoothly grabbed Cecelia's hand and planted a gentle kiss on the back of it.

That little hand-kiss move sent Remington into a whirlwind of weird feelings. Something about it just didn't sit right with him.

As he stared at the piano prince, his eyes locked onto Cecelia, and you could practically feel the jealousy radiating from him.

What the heck was happening?

Did Kyson and Cecelia have some history? Were they buds from way back?

"How are you here? I've been on a wild goose chase looking for you, Leah!"

Kyson's gaze was laser-focused on Cecelia as if everyone else in the room had vanished. When he laid eyes on her, it was like he couldn't wait to spill his guts about his lovey-dovey feelings.

"Sorry, Kyson. I never got in touch when I got back to the country. My bad. But I'm seriously stoked and grateful you made it to my birthday bash here in the Cathail Republic tonight."

Cecelia gave her apologies and welcomed Kyson's presence.
