To no one's surprise, what greeted Xiao Hu next was a round of spanking from his parents. They wondered where their son had gotten the weird idea that he was going to marry Duo Duo.
Eventually, and extremely reluctantly, Xiao Hu greeted Chu Feng and Yun Muqing as "Godfather" and "Godmother."
Tang Feng and his family stayed there for another two hours before leaving.
Chu Feng saw them off at the door. Before Tang Feng left, he hesitated for a while before saying, "Chu Feng, if you have time, you should pay Sisi a visit…"
Chu Feng was surprised to hear that name, and the image of that aloof yet violent woman appeared in his mind. He also remembered the kiss that she had given him when they parted ways a few days ago.
He could still taste the scent on his lips…
"Is she okay?"
Tang Feng was thinking of how to answer the question when Wang Hui replied, "No, she's not okay at all. The b*stards from the Fang family are getting restless, and Young Master Fang has staked out in front of our house since a few days ago. He wants Sisi to agree to the marriage in three days. Those bullies! They've gone overboard!"
Tang Feng glared at his wife, and that was when she realized she had misspoken. She lowered her head in embarrassment and tried to fix her gaze on a random spot on the ground.
Chu Feng took a deep breath and looked into the distance. A long time later, he asked, "Does she want to marry him?"
Tang Feng and Wang Hui remained silent. Their only response was a long sigh, but the silence said it all.
"I understand," Chu Feng said calmly. "I'll pay you a visit tomorrow."
Tang Feng was overjoyed to hear that. He thought that Chu Feng was going to help his sister.
Tang Weiguo had told him that the Fang family would not be able to hold a candle against Chu Feng.
"Yes, yes. I'll inform Sisi about it, and we'll be waiting for you." Tang Feng felt as though a heavy burden had been lifted off his shoulders. He went into his car and drove off.
