The elevator reached the first floor. The passengers exited it and it became spacious.
However, the old lady and the boy blocked the way out of the elevator, not planning to let Mia and
Timothy leave.
The old lady didn’t stop her rant. “Explain! How could you not respect the elderly and care for the kids a
single bit?”
Mia, who was still standing in the corner, raised her head to glance at Timothy and whispered, “We’re
here.”

In a trembling voice, she said, “What are you trying to do? Are you a gangster? I–I’m telling you! My son is one of the higher–ups in Barrett Group. If you upset me, he will never let you get away with it!”
