Mia shook her head. "I don't, but I'm curious about why she claims to be Nicholas' fiancée. I haven't heard about any updates regarding his love life though."

Josie chimed in, "Mr. Mendes is just so attractive and capable, after all. In fact, some of my colleagues fancied him. But he wasn't interested in dating. He even turned down one of his suitors who bombarded him with a fervent confession.

Mia sensed her implication, and her expression grew awkward. Not long ago, she had just found out that Nicholas fancied her. She didn't see him as a potential suitor; he was like a brother to her.
