Chapter 247 Encounter
Jake really deserved his nickname.
In a regular psychological clinic, there was some equipment for treatment.
But he had rented a floor of the hospital building as his treatment room.
After a short silence, Colin spoke, "Jadon, can you find out whether Faye is receiving treatment in your hospital?"
"Yes, I can."
"Please find it out for me."
"OK, are you coming if Faye is receiving treatment here?" Jadon asked.
"Rebecca," Colin said in a deep voice.
Colin hung up the phone and stood at the window, looking serious.
After ten minutes, Jadon called again.
Jadon came to the point. "Colin, I got it. Faye is receiving treatment in the hospital."
"I'll be there in half an hour," Colin said quickly.
When he drove to get there, he saw Faye and Rebecca standing outside the gate at a distance.
In bright noon sunlight, Faye was talking to Rebecca who was wearing a frown.
Colin dared not to go off the car, hands clenching the steering wheel and his heart starting to ache.
He thought, "She's my girl. She's the apple of my eye. Now she's forcing herself to cure her illness just for me."
"Faye, are you sure you'll do this?" Rebecca asked worriedly.
"Yes, don't worry. I'll be fine." Faye gave her a smile.
"I shouldn't discourage you. If you feel strange, just let me know," Rebecca said.
Faye nodded.
"In fact, I've been thinking about one thing recently. You see, you and Colin got married and had sex. And you liked each other. Can't you two keep live like this? Why do you have to cure the illness?"
Faye thought for a while and said, "Mental illness is like a dormant volcano. I don't know when it'll erupt or what will become of me when it erupts."
Rebecca said no more.
Faye clenched her hands at her sides, with a look of bitterness on her delicate face. "He loves me but I can't get him into trouble."
