Colin really listened to Faye indeed; he now made what he wanted clear to her as he was told.

Faye was slightly stupefied when she heard his words. Then, she acted calm and said, "It's very late. You go to bed early."

Colin perceived Faye's nervousness and chuckled. "I don't want to sleep yet," said he.

Faye uttered, "I'm hanging up."

Colin deliberately lowered his voice and said, "Baby."

Faye was rendered wordless.

Colin continued, "It has been a day. Don't you want to see me?"

Faye compressed her lips and said lightly, "Nope."

In order to allure her, Colin made his voice low and deep, "But I want to see you."

Faye took a breath and compressed her lips into a slit.

Colin tried to bewitch her by saying, "Baby, I've been missing the whole day. Don't you feel sorry for me?"

Faye tightened her grip on her mobile phone suddenly.

Getting no reply from Faye, Colin continued urging, "Baby, what about a video call for 5 minutes? I promise I'll hang up as soon as it's been five minutes."

Faye furrowed her eyebrows. Before she could say anything, Colin had hung up, and then Faye received a FaceTime call.

Looking at the incoming call on the phone screen, Faye was hesitant for a few seconds. She didn't have the heart to decline it. At the end of the day, she tapped on "Accept" after taking a deep breath.

In the next second, Faye saw Colin on the screen.

Faye took off her slippers, lifted a corner of the quilt, and climbed into bed. She leaned against the headboard with her legs crossed and asked, "Don't you sleep?"

Colin smiled mischievously and uttered, "Can't fall asleep."

Faye asked again, "It's been a long day. Aren't you tired?"

Colin smiled more happily and answered, "Nope."

Then, the mobile phone in his hand swayed, and the camera was pointed at his abdominal muscles.
