Chapter 268 Prelude To The Storm
After Abbot knocked all those men unconscious under Colin's instructions, he silently lit a cigarette while looking at them lying about in the alley.
Then, he took a long draw on it and said in a rare serious tone, "Colin, it's done."
Colin nodded and threw the pistol to Andy.
After Andy caught it and had a close glance, he showed a look of disgust.
This kind of gun had been eliminated from the market five years ago.
Colin read his mind, so he said in a deep voice, "I want you to destroy it instead of using it."
When Andy heard this, the disgust on his face lessened, and he nodded, "Yes, Mr. Farrell."
Colin said, "Get in the car to take a break. I need to talk with Mr. Carter alone."
Andy nodded, turned around, and stepped into the car.
After he left, Abbot walked up to Colin with the cigarette in his mouth and said, "Have you made up your mind?"
Colin teased, "I'd hesitated for a long time, but I made up my mind just now."
Abbot took the cigarette out of his mouth to flick the ashes and chuckled, "Tell me why you suddenly made up your mind."
Colin put his hands in his pockets and said with a serious face, "They tried to shoot Andy today. What if they point their guns at Faye in the future?"
Colin wanted to say something more but stopped speaking on second thought.
Abbot instantly understood what he meant, so he said seriously, "Faye is as important as your life."
Colin smiled, "She is more important than my life."
Hearing this, Abbot didn't taunt him again but took out his phone from his pocket with a smile and made a call.
When the call was answered, Abbot said, "Send seven people over. I'll give you the address later."
After the person on the other end of the phone said something, Abbot replied, "I want seven men who are good at fighting because this task will be dangerous."
Then, he hung up the phone, put it back in his pocket, looked up at Colin, and said, "I'll lead the attack for you."
Colin patted his arm and said, "Thanks."
Abbot said, "This is corny. Stop it!"
Seeing Colin smiling at him, he couldn't help but laugh, "I haven't forgotten that you were hurt by a knife to save my life back then."
Colin raised his eyebrows slightly and teased, " This is corny. Stop it!"
Abbot joked, "F*ck you!"
After Abbot's people came, they carried all the people on the ground of the alley into the vans.
Abbot sternly said, " Colin, go back to meet Faye before you go to the old mansion."
Colin nodded, "I will."
Then, Abbot turned around, waved his hand with his back toward Colin, opened the door of one van, and sat in the passenger seat.
The four vans blocking the entrance of the alley retreated in unison, then turned around, and left.
