Chapter 270 Confusion
Seeing Old Mr. Farrell's angry face, Colin went to the sofa while holding Faye's hand and sat down with an indifferent look, and then, he leaned over and poured a glass of water for his grandfather.
When Old Mr. Farrell saw Colin behave properly as usual, his sullen face softened, and then, he said, "Tell me what happened."
Colin put the glass of water in front of Old Mr. Farrell with both hands in silence.
Old Mr. Farrell looked down at the glass and then looked up at Colin.
After Colin shot a glance at Andy, the latter got his hint, pulled Lance over, and kicked him in the back of his knees.
It was painful, so Lance fell to his knees with a bang.
Lance was not just an acquaintance of the Farrells, so Old Mr. Farrell's instantly turned gloomy as soon as seeing him.
Colin smiled and said lightly, "Grandpa, you should know who Lance is working for."
Old Mr. Farrell seemed to have paid no attention to the affairs outside during the past few years, but he was clear about everything.
He had seen Colin and Hank fighting openly and secretly for a long time but had never talked about it.
Seeing Colin catch Lance, he guessed what had happened.
However, he was a wily old fox, so this scene could not deter him at all.
And it took only a few seconds for him to regain his reason, and then, he stretched out his hand to pick up the glass in front of him and said slowly, "You two have been fighting for years. Why did you fail to retain your composure today?"
Colin said solemnly, "Because Hank intended to murder me today."
Hearing this, Old Mr. Farrell tightened his grip on the glass.
He had never been afraid of the fight between Colin and Hank.
He even thought that a proper fight between the brothers could stimulate their fighting spirits and make them more capable.
But he did not allow them to try to kill each other.
Colin knew his words had hit Old Mr. Farrell's pain point, so he continued, "I think you know clearly what happened to Hank and me over the years. So, I won't talk about those things to you."
Old Mr. Farrell remained silent.
Colin sneered, "To tell you the truth, I set Hank up a while ago and let him lose a lot of money. He was irritated, so he asked some people to smuggle goods at Abbot's wharf to retaliate against me."
When he mentioned smuggling, Old Mr. Farrell's expression became even gloomier.
