Chapter 282 A Beautiful Morning
Faye didn't know if it was well-marched love or not.
But Faye had her bottom line, which was no matter how much she loved a man or how good he was to her, she would not rely on or depend on him.
Even if she couldn't protect him, she wouldn't want to become his burden.
After all, life was long and there were many variables. No one could guarantee that they could always love each other.
When the car arrived at Fennth Community, Faye was sleeping soundly.
She had been chatting with Colin when the car started driving.
As the car drove on slowly, she became drunk. With sufficient heating in the car, it was difficult for her not to fall asleep.
When the car stopped, Colin first unbuckled his seat belt and then leaned over to unbuckle Faye's.
Before getting out of the car, he took off his coat and put it on his arm.
When Colin opened the door of the passenger seat, a chill crept into the car.
Faye instinctively shivered. The next second, a coat covered her face, and Colin leaned over to pick her up.
Suddenly rising into the air, Faye struggled subconsciously. She reached out to pull off the clothes on her face, but Colin stopped her.
"Don't move. The warm wind blows all the way, and you are sweating."
Hearing Colin's voice, Faye stopped and said in a muffled voice, "It's uncomfortable."
Colin said in a low voice, "Sweetie, be patient."
Back home, Colin carried Faye straight upstairs to the bedroom.
After entering the room, Colin carefully placed Faye on the bed, picked up his coat, and smiled at her, "Get up and wash your face?"
Faye opened her eyes and then closed them. She felt so tired, "Wait a minute."
Colin chuckled, "Wait a minute, or you're too lazy to move?"
Faye pursed her lips, reached for the coat Colin had just picked up and covered her face again.
Seeing this, Colin smiled helplessly. He squatted down and took off Faye's shoes.
Faye said, "Colin."
Colin's warm palms clasped her ankles and he said, "What?"
Faye said, "Good night."
Colin stopped and said with a smile, "Well, good night."
Faye said good night to him and fall asleep. Colin helped her take off her shoes and her makeup and change into her nightgown.
Faye was cooperative throughout, only frowning occasionally to show her dissatisfaction.
Faye slept well all night.
When she opened her eyes early the next morning, she was hugged from behind by Colin.
Faye looked out the window with a smile.
Colin didn't draw the curtains last night, and there was only a layer of screen.
When the sun shone in obliquely from the outside, this layer of screen window just played a transitional role, blocking the dazzling light and leaving only the warmth.
