My Fair Stunner novel Chapter 305

Chapter 305 A Great Fortune Teller

Colin was throaty. After he said that, his chest moved up and down during his breathing.

Looking back at him, Faye felt a twinge of distress and said, "All right. Then just don't let me go."

It suddenly reminded Faye of one of the sonnets of William Shakespeare. The last few verses left a deep impression on her:

Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade, When in eternal lines to Time thou grow'st. So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee. Faye remembers the last two lyrics deeply.

At that time, she wondered how deep the love could be.

At this moment, she seemed to catch on to it.

Although she didn't comprehend it very thoroughly, she had a rough understanding.

Probably, Colin and she were in love with each other to the core.

It was the dead of winter in December.

The two hugged each other in the parking lot for a while. Colin lowered his head and kissed her on the ear. "Cold?" asked he.

Faye answered, "It's all right."

Colin said, "My ears are very cold."

Faye uttered, "It's all right. My ears are good with cold."

Colin chuckled and kissed her on the cheek before he loosened his hold and opened the car door to let her in.

After Faye got into the car, Colin leaned over to help her fasten the seat belt.

Faye said, "Aunt Carlotta is still in the private room."

Colin replied in a low voice, "I have asked Andy to send her home."

"Hmm?" Faye was confused.

Colin stated, "I went to Room 309 just now, but I didn't see you, so I called Andy to send Aunt Carlotta home first."

It dawned on Faye in a heartbeat, and she said, "Andy has been following us secretly?"

"Mm-hmm." Colin did not retort.

Colin smiled and straightened up. He then closed the door and went to the driver's seat.

At the same time, in the private room.

Martha pulled a long face. She smashed the coffee cup in her hand.

Hearing the noise, the waiter of the cafe made his way to her. Martha adjusted her mood and handed the waiter a bank card, saying, "Sorry, it was a slip of my hand just now. I accidentally dropped the coffee cup on the ground."

The waiter uttered with a smile, "It doesn't matter."

Martha said, "Just swipe my card. I'll pay for it."

When she went out of the cafe, Martha dialed Blaine's number.

When Blaine picked up the phone, Martha roughly told Blaine about the situation here.

Hearing what Martha said, Blaine flew into a rage and huffed, "I told you to start with Carlotta. Why didn't you listen?"

Martha snapped, "Why are you mad at me? How did I know she was so pigheaded?"

Blaine placed almost all his bets on Colin. At this time, he dared not have a falling-out with Martha. He tried to suppress his anger and made his tone sound peaceful, "Since Plan A didn't work, let's carry out Plan B."

Martha mocked, "Blaine, do you know what you are like now?"

Blaine was silent.

Martha continued, "A dog that had been discarded by its owner."

Blaine was subdued.

An hour later, Colin and Faye returned to Fennth Community.

As soon as the two entered the house, Carlotta scurried to them and asked, "What's going on? Did you see that guy? Did he give you a hard time?"

Carlotta asked a barrage of questions, which took Faye by surprise.

Realizing that she had asked too many questions at one time, Carlotta looked awkward and uttered, "I... I am just worried that you will be wronged."

Faye smiled and said, "Aunt Carlotta, I'm fine."

Carlotta heaved a long sigh of relief and stated, "That's good, that's good."

Carlotta had changed a lot since she came back this time.
