My Fair Stunner novel Chapter 327

Chapter 327 Lucky to Meet You

Faye looked at Colin in confusion as if she hadn't come out of her trance.

It wasn't until he touched the back of her neck with his big hand and pressed his forehead against hers that her eyes slowly began to focus on his face.

"Colin."

Colin showed a smile on his thin lips and asked, "What are you thinking?"

Faye's palms were somehow covered by a thin layer of sweat, but she replied, "Nothing."

He asked in a deep voice, "Is it because the atmosphere in the Farrells is too bad that you feel ill at ease?"

She shook her head, "No."

Colin smiled, "Tell me if you feel uncomfortable. And I'll take you home right away."

After he paused for a few seconds, he added dotingly, "We will go back to our home."

Faye took a deep breath and nodded.

During lunch, Old Mr. Farrell was carried downstairs by servants in a wheelchair.

At the dining table, when Tiffany was taking care of everyone as usual, Blaine said a few auspicious words as a routine.

When the young generation watched them act, they showed different expressions.

After the meal, Old Mr. Farrell sat still, so the others could only accompany him.

He put his hands on his knees and scanned everyone from Blaine to Faye.

After a long while, he said in a hoarse voice, "Blaine, when the Registry of Marriages opens, go there with Tiffany to get a divorce!"

After Old Mr. Farrell finished speaking, Helen reacted before her parents.

The juice glass in her hand fell to the ground, making a crisp cracking sound.

Everyone at the table instantly looked at her.

Helen's face flushed before she said with tears in her eyes, "It was an accident."

Old Mr. Farrell said solemnly, "You are not a kid anymore. I will let your parents look for a suitable husband for you after the holiday. Get married as soon as possible."

Helen said emotionally, "Grandpa, no!"

Old Mr. Farrell replied in a firm tone, "I've made up my mind."

Seeing her keep silent, he added, "My health is getting worse every day. If I die, you might not be able to marry a decent man at all."

Helen pursed her lips when big tears fell down her cheeks.

Old Mr. Farrell glanced at her, closed his eyes, and waved his hand at York, saying, "York, I'm tired."

Hearing this, York immediately asked the two servants to carry him upstairs.

After he left, the atmosphere in the dining room suddenly changed.

Tiffany gave Blaine a contemptuous look and mocked, "Mr. Farrell, you finally got what you want."

Blaine glared at her with a gloomy face and said, "You also got what you want."

After Old Mr. Farrell had made the statement at noon, the Farrells didn't even bother to act any longer in the evening.

When it was time for dinner, the dining room was empty.
