Chapter 354 To Cover Up Clumsily
After Rebecca finished her words, she tightened her hold around his neck before Abbot got to react.
The next second, she kissed him on the corner of his lips.
Rebecca had never been in love, so she was not a good kisser.
By the time Abbot realized what happened, Rebecca had pried open his lips with her tongue.
Abbot's face flushed. He held Rebecca's waist and tried to pull her down.
Rebecca was kissing him intently. She was quite dissatisfied with what Abbot did; she frowned and glared at him, saying, "Don't move!"
Abbot was rendered speechless.
Rebecca smiled and added, "Let me kiss you a little longer."
Abbot was sunk in memory, while a chuckle woke him up.
"Abbot."
Colin smiled in a low voice.
Abbot's recollection came to an abrupt end. He looked away from Rebecca's lips and turned to look at Colin, asking "What's up?"
Colin fiddled with the lighter in his hand and said, "Did you two kiss?"
Abbot froze, and a touch of panic flashed across his eyes.
Noticing that, Colin caught on and clicked his tongue. "How was it?"
Abbot ground his teeth and huffed, "Don't say shit."
Colin joked, "You bored into Rebecca's lips so intently. People can tell as long as they're not blind."
Abbot glared at Colin warningly and stated, "You worked with her to trick me. I haven't settled it with you yet."
Colin leaned against the chair and uttered mischievously, "Does Rebecca know about your kisses?"
Abbot was wordless.
Delight could be seen in Colin's glamorous eyes.
The four people had their own thoughts in their minds when enjoying the food at the dining table.
After eating their fill, Rebecca pulled Faye's shirt under the table and said, "Faye."
Faye caught on. She slightly pressed her lips together and opened her mouth after thinking for a few seconds, "Abbot."
Abbot raised his eyes and uttered, "Hmm?"
Faye said unnaturally, "For the previous matter, Rebecca has already reflected on it. Could you please let her off the hook?"
For that matter, Rebecca was definitely in the wrong.
Although Faye was a manager of PR in crisis, dealing with such a matter in which her friend was at fault was more or less embarrassing for her.
Abbot did not say anything. He turned his eyes to Rebecca.
Seeing Abbot looking at her, Rebecca immediately stood up and smiled flatteringly. With a cup of juice in her hand, she said, "Mr. Carter, I've truly reflected on my mistake. Please be kind and let me get off the hook."
Rebecca looked down at her juice and then looked up at Abbot, uttering, "I'll down it. You don't have to."
After that, she drank up the juice.
She acted like she was drinking a cup of liquor.
